Beverage of choice?

Some whiskey in your coffee? A few glasses of Bailey's? A pint of Newcastle? A couple fingers of single malt?

I am planning to get out of bed and imbibe early tomorrow morning to get my mind right for the Open. Nothing goes with watching overcast windy links golf better than your favorite Western European drink. At 4 AM. I'm sure I'm not the only one using the early coverage as an excuse to throw a few back before work tomorrow morning (I bike to work). What will everyone be wetting their whistle with tomorrow?

As for me, I think I'll grab a 4 pack of Boddington's pub ale pint cans and split it between Thursday and Friday. I prefer Guinness and Murphy's, but I'll go with the English beer this year due to RSG's location.

Depends where I'm at. I would not have the same beverage at home at 4am (if I'm even awake) as I would in Vegas at 4am...

Given you situation, I think some Irish Coffee would work nicely.

I live just southeast of UF (where I'm a PhD candidate) and am moving downtown next month.

If I am awake at 4am it is for golf and only because I have a 90min+ drive for a tee time at a course worth driving 90min+ to! I will probably be drinking a Vitamin Water Zero at that time since Starbucks isn't open yet. Perhaps if McDonalds is 24 hours I'd have a McCafe Mocha Frappe and a bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit.
