Here's some preview pictures on some upcoming KZG offerings. A little background....

The M-Series irons and wedges are made from 1025 Carbon Steel and are triple-forged and CNC milled and you will be able to mix and match irons within a set. Evolution II irons are double forged (1020 steel) in Japan. Irons will be available soon. What do you think?

Yeah KZG make some nice stuff, but man, their ZO Blades are absolutely stupendous. You won't need anything else

The M-Series Irons will be RH for now, but we will tool it up for LH depending on the feedback we receive in the first few months.

thats a shame, but understandable. Well I hope the M series goes well for you so grow and can release more lefty clubs.

Those ME 1s are an awful lot like a satin version of the SAQRA INB 2018s. What is the relation?

What does double forged mean?
It is how we manufacture our Japanese forged irons and wedges, like as the Evolution IIs. Premium carbon steel bars are heated to 1,200°C then struck with a 4-ton air hammer containing the tooling die. The newly formed head is trimmed, cooled and blasted to remove burrs. Then the head is reheated to 800°C for a second forging using a 500 ton air hammer and again cooled and blasted for burrs. This is different than other "forging processes" (e.g. coin forged or form forged).
Just in case we didnt Forge it enough.....Were gonna heat up again and Forge it again by smashing it with the Jaws of Life.
Any questions on Forging?

Probably came from the same factory in China or japan or Taiwan. Golf club companies, like bicycle companies, are marketing companies.....creating mystical stories abut their products, and all have very thin skins that bristle at any criticisms....witness how quickly the staff at KZG has responded here ......wait for it.......wait for it.....

Well, well, explains the lines in the back. I think given the choice of either one, I would prefer the statin finish on the KZG's. Wonder if either of the companies did any R&D on these?

I've played KZG irons exclusively for the last 12 years. They are truly fantastic heads and deserve far more recognition than they get.

I do have a question for the KZG staffers here:

I simply love my CB2's but they're getting a little roughed up. Do you have any type of refurbishing or refinishing service? The grooves could use some love and there are some nicks and scratches that I wouldn't mind having touched up.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have played KZG forged Tour Evolution irons and their forged TRS wedges for the past two seasons. Simply put, they are fantastic irons and the quality is outstanding. Yes, mine are the forged in Japan heads and thus more expensive, but having more expensive heads wasn't my goal. I hit these in a demo against Mizuno MP-62 (those are similar, a small and compact forged split cavity head)) and AP2 710; all with the same shaft, grip, sw etc. The KZG simply performed the best (for me) - ball flight, dispersion, feel and look at address. I therefore, happily paid the up-charge that was required over the mizzy and the titleist.

I'm confident that KZG's forging in China - their ME line - will offer customers an excellent alternative to the larger OEMs...and yes, KZG is an an OEM that is American. Always good to support North American businesses in my opinion.

They look good, what is the difference between the MA, MO, and ME? which would be the most forgiving, which would be the lowest ball flight, tough to tell from those pics. Also, is there going to be a muscle back to match the set? Always love how KZG's blades look.

Anyone know the difference between the three.

I love the product but I live in East Tennessee and there is not a dealer within 250 miles of me.....I contacted the company about buying components but was told they only sell to authorized dealers.....Same issue as trying to stock big brands...require a million dollars of inventory to start and must meet requirements for full fittings. (launch monitor, hitting bays, ect). We had a local dealer but he could not make it....Wish the company would realize that in the age of the internet, and the 40 other companies in this market, maybe a different marketing approach would help grow this business. I would push the product but I cannot afford to buy the product retail from another dealer to fit local golfers and make money....I appreciate the company trying to protect authorized dealers, and trying to protect the brand integrity, but it is killing the product in all but big metropolitan areas...

One thing I've learned in business is that you can't please everyone. The moment you try is the moment you begin to fail. KZG has a formula that works for them and they stick to it.
