i would like to but i hit them inside a golfsmith... i would like to hit them off grass but from looking at them and feeling them - they are just like the 68s

If you don't like the modern loft of the PW weaken it to 48 and it will have less off-set. And do you still play a 200cc driver and Balata balls?

They wanted to add the C-Tapers but KBS can't guarantee delivery untill next year and Mizuno doesn't want to have back order problems.

Ive had the 69's and 59's for over 3 weeks and played 4 rounds with both sets off grass, Fantastic Clubs ! not much more too say they speak for themselves on course

They are available in a satin finish - all you have to do is turn pro, get a Mizzy contract, play on the Euro tour, and get Terry san on the tour van to custom grind them for you

Yes ! its a process whereby when the heads are made as in FIRED and stamped the grains in the metal are flowed ( or aligned ) as close as possible without pockets of AIR within the structure , in other words Mizuno are the closest thing to a block of solid steel.

i did, i was told it was marketing to get more people to play their blades... from what i was reading from the technology add... it seems like its easier for people to get the ball airborne...

They updated the site in the past few days. It is back to +6 to 7 like the 68s.

Depends. I still have Palmer Peerless persimmon and 445 cc R11. I would like something under 400 for a driver.

you know i dont know what the big deal is to ap2.....i hear people rave and i was thoroughly disappointed after hitting them,,maybe its just the titleist logo.....if those clubs were branded pinseeker and you hit them i think the masses would have a much different opinion, IDK.............all mizuno forged options were softer than ap2 imo......and some mizuno forged clubs are not all that, though these 59's were butter when i hit them at roger dunn.very impressed so far


and satin blades look like chit........chrome looks far better in 99% of applications

i would too......i can hit my 3 wood just as far as my driver most of the time just because the head is easier to get around

Went to my mate's shop yesterday and he had the heads in so I fitted them up with my preferred NSPros and had about half hour with each club with the same shaft.

I prefer the 59s - a bit of background - I'd been playing MP57s since 2008,and recently changed to S56s (from Wrx with NSPros). I also have a set of G15s in the cupboard for bad swing days.

Anyhows.....I preferred the 59s. These are reminiscent of the PING S56s, but with a forged feel - and they definitely have more feel compared to the 58s. My S56s are still a bit longer iron for iron as they are hotter off the face.

The 69s are pretty similar to the 68s probably with a bit of a higher flight but lower spin. But feels similar to me.

Overall, if you have any of the modern MPs 57, 52, 53, 58 etc.....and you want to change, the MP59 will be slightly more easy to hit and launch, and they feel just as good as the lot of them. The big plus is that the cavity looks lush - I didn't like the JPXs because of the stuff in the cavity at the back (don't mind these plastic stuff in cast) as I just prefer a forged iron to look like a forged iron that's clean, clinical and looking gorgeous.

My vote as forged iron of the year available to the mass market - Mizuno MP59

100% Correct Mate, altho i use the 59's on off days, but i am using them tomorrow for a change against my 69's as i hate to say it but they are seeing much more play time even in ON days now ! the feel and shot making is Pure off any lie, i really love the 59's

according to him, all OEM orders with CT are going to take 3 months to ship out.

So for all the guys playing these- what wedge configuration are you using? The PW's are 46°, do you find your selfs adding an additional wedge (50°)? Or are you just jumping straight to a 52°?

I am using 50, 56 and 60 degree wedged with my MP-59's. My PW is 45...

Had a chance to hit the MP59s this week. My buddy has a set with graphite shafts. Take into account that I am a 12 handicap, so no great golfer here. I normally play Ping I15s. His clubs are 1.5 degrees flat and I normally play 2 degree upright.

That being said these clubs are sweet. Instant feedback and when you hit the sweet spot they felt like butter. I certainly rcvd more feedback than my pings and realized about a 10 yard loss on miss hits.

I am very tempted to give these a shot after the new year. Not sure if they would help me become a better player buy paying more attention to the feedback given, especially on the range. We will see.
