You can try golfusamanhattan, but DD is usually cheaper and no sales tax. I have gotten a couple of shafts for my 910's from DD.

I placed my order and then they emailed me saying the price was not about 95% higher. I asked them if maybe they were not sure, but the guy seemed fairly confident, so I canceled my order. IF you have luck, get me one too, looking for a tour ad di 105S hybrid shaft

I just ordered a DI7 from Discount Dan on Monday, and the price was unbeatable. Straight from Titleist w/ tip cheaper than any place for the just the shaft including ebay. Maybe the Oban's where the only ones that went up.

Part of their reply was that the prices went up on Monday. Maybe you just lucked out. Would be interested to hear if people have had success since then. I placed my order last night, and received the email this AM.

I also just bought a DI from Dan's, their quote made my jaw drop. Everything came shipped direct from Titleist within a week!!

I just asked them for a price on a Proforce V2 with a surefit adapter and they quoted me at $119. The shaft itself is a $60 shaft. Where's the discount?

If you're asking prices just send them an email. Their prices cannot be advertised without them getting in trouble. It takes 5 minutes to send the email and they get back in 2 hours or less

DD quoted several 910 shafts for me and some were very discounted, like the DI-6, MFT Diamanas, and stock PXs. The original Diamana Blueboard and Whiteboard were moderately discounted. Some shafts were not discounted, like the V2. The real non-MFT "next generation" Diamanas (Kai'li, Ahina) were more than retail cost of the same shaft without the sure-fit tip. [u]I would say DD's prices has more to do with Titleist's wholesale cost to their dealers on each individual shaft [/u]than DD just discounting or marking up certain shafts.

In any case, I've bought from DD twice and have gotten excellent prices and service.

Buy the shaft for $60 and then go find an oem adapter and I bet you are over the $119.

I bought an Oban Devotion 6 04 from my club pro earlier this year for $215 and my buddy bought a DI7 for less. If you know a local club pro who you do business with that is the best route.

Since nobody will say what they paid through DD's. Do you sign some agreement or something once you purchase the item? Or do they threaten to take your first born if you disclose the cost? Just wondering why all the hush, hush on the pricing.

Because it's just bad form to post a price online for what they sell.

It's called MAP pricing. Just e-mail them, it takes 5 seconds and they will quote you.

I don't want to sound like a jerk at all, but MAP stands for "minimum advertised price". None of you work for DD so there should be 0 issue disclosing the price. Are we under the impression that posting on WRX=working for that company or something? I really see absolutely 0 downside with posting the price yet we have managed to beat around the bush for weeks. Still not sure why.

I guess if you are too damn lazy to send an e-mail, you probably aren't really interested in buying at all anyways.

If they don't want their prices advertised, it doesn't have to be from them, or from me. Putting it out there, that "HEY DD SELLS THIS ITEM FOR THIS PRICE" isn't my responsibility, or anyones for that matter.

Want to know why people won't disclose the price? Because if Titleist is reading this (OEM's read this board, I promise) and find out, DD can lose their Titleist account for selling below MAP price. Don't believe me? Just ask the PGA Tour Superstore, they lost theirs for nearly a year for selling below MAP (mainly ProV1's were the problem being sold below MAP). Now they're the highest Titleist retailer around but they're not below MAP. Everyone else costs more around here now too. Do you want a low priced option gone and them to lose their right to sell Titleist? And if they lose it, when it comes back I can promise you you're not going to find low prices there on that equipment ever again. Do you really want that or is is too much to ask to not be lazy and send an email or make a 3 minute phone call? Jesus people are lazy these days.

I've bought from them before, like their prices so I keep my mouth shut. Have sent a few people to them that have called, got a price and bought before as well. It took them all of 3 minutes to get a price, just like it did me.
