I found this pretty interesting from the US AM, Titleist lead in every category, which might surprise a lot of people around here. I thought TM would have better number, but I guess these guys play what is best for them, not the money.

Titleist has ALWAYS had a huge collegiate program. The go as far to start out at the high school level...so this is very little surprise to me.

Some companies are more generous about giving clubs to top amateurs than others, so I'm not sure that's quite right.

Titleist is the biggest contibutor to college golf. Those players are Ams so there is no money, but there is free equipment.

Never EVER trust those playing numbers as a statement of a product's quality. This is BIG business worth millions. The major OEMs know where to and how to groom product reps (top ams).

No shock here.This is where and how the brain washing begins. Titleist begins their tactics at the JR levels. It's why you see so many 70 year olds playing the Pro V.

+1 atleast half of these guys arnt paying for clubs, Im sure Titleist is helping that cause just to do that. Advertise they are the best....you would be shocked how many those guys use Circle T Putters.

Pretty sure Taylor Made, Callaway, Nike, etc are doing the same thing..... Not saying Titleist is the best, but these guys want to play those clubs, balls, etc

I was at a high level junior tournament today and I noticed the same thing. I only saw about 6 TM's, but over half the field were playing the 910's. My guess is 85-90% played a Titleist driver. Titleist was also the iron of choice, with a few Mizuno's mixed in. Very little Callaway, a few more Pings. With the girls it was a bigger mix, but I would say Ping was the leader.

I enjoyed the US Am today more than the crappy Barclays.

Titleist and Ping have a huge showing with junior and collegiate players. It's no surprise they get comfortable with it, and get taken care of well, and will play with it as long as they can, until they go Pro and then the money will talk.

Nike & Titleist are big college companies. Nike sponsors the Univ of Memphis here, & Titleist has Miss State

Yep, Titleist dominates the amateur ranks. I was getting contacted by Titleist in high school. Unfortunately, I chose a college that didn't have a D1 golf program, but many of my friends that went on to play college golf were either all Ping or All Titleist.

However, if I were starting out as a pro, the tee-up money that T.M. pays would be hard to resist.

Titleist is either the biggest or the second biggest Manufacturer in the wolrd. I would say #1 but I dont know the numbers. I am sure there is probbly more new Titleist clubs put in pay each year than any
other Manufacturer. If You count Cameron and Vokey and Titlest clubs and balls its Titlesit by far. On tour by far its Tiltleist.

If it's like other tournaments, it would be a Darrell Survey, which is a company whose sole purpose is to do club counts for golf events.

I think they did a WITB here for him a while back, not sure.

I know he's playing the 910's, and a Cameron.

Past that, I didn't look hard enough.
