College Football!!!!

Man, I tell you what.. Bored this morning, woke up early for some reason, fired up the smoker, coffee, sitting on the patio out back..

Then College Gameday comes on for a special pre-season deal.. Man that gets me going. Some of those guys are some homers(kirk....) but I sure do love a good a cool calm Saturday morning, a good cup of coffee, some Gameday shenanigans going on, switching to beer shortly after lunch.

I. Can. Not. Wait.

Firing up the grill every Saturday.. Stocking up the beer fridge every weekend because you destroyed it all day long Sat..

One more boring weekend left!! Then I have to plan my Saturday rounds based on the schedule of games!

Anyone else just love college football?

I love college football to the point where my father, my uncles, and I have missed a cousins wedding because it had coincided with a rivalry home game at 8p.

His excuse to her? You should have consulted the schedule first!

Regardless of game time we leave the house at 430a for games to get in the lot by 7a with bloody marys and to hook up the TVs. Nothing beats watching gameday from the lot where they are broadcasting!

When there are away games or home games that do not interest me I usually plan my Sat around them -- no dinner plans are safe from Sept through Dec.

Really looking forward to the season getting started. Just hope all of the BS with Jordan Jefferson will not slow down my LSU tigers. I think Lee will do a good job as QB for us.

Can't wait for the Duck/LSU game this weekend. And whomever scheduled the Boise St./Georgia game for the same time as the Oregon game should be drawn and quartered. Only 2 decent games all weekend and they are at the same freakin time? If only ESPN and ABC were owned by the same company, this would never happen.

Woo Pig Sooie! I'm a huge Razorback fan but the thought of grilling, boozing and watching college football all day (preferably SEC) every Saturday for the next 3 months makes me giddy.

Golf and college football are my wife's archenemies.

I'm going to miss a wife's friend's wedding for the ND-Southern Cal game on Oct. 22, what can I say, first night game in forever. I just hope we take down USF this week.

As for the OP, I have to admit that I love ESPN Game Day, hearing the intro music alone gets me so psyched for a day of football. There's a reason (other than Chicago weather) why my Saturday rounds are virtually non-existent starting Labor Day weekend.

Sorry for not sounding more sarcastic. Yes, I am aware of the ABC/ESPN being owned by the mouse. That is why I find this scheduling so puzzling.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with a lot of Ducks fans at the National Championship game last year. Even in my finest Orange and Blue I was welcomed over and my group and theirs had a great time talking college football. Also, y'all come up with some ugly uniform combinations, but if what I have seen of your uniforms for the LSU game is accurate then Oregon is going to look SHARP for that game.
