mdgboxx
I am in shock....! I cannot believe it.......! In this era of adjustable golf everything, PING discontinued the iWi series of putters. I bought a Craz-E iWi series eight days ago at my local GolfTown. It putted better than a $350 Scotty that I was trying out. The Ping was the last one in stock and on sale so, I pulled the trigger, the man said that it came with a set of optional heavier weights that he would include. Been gaming it a week so far. Works even better on a "real" green although we are still at the "get to know each other" stage. I hated the Winn effeminate grip, so I had a Lamkin Jumbo put on before I left the store. DOWNSIDE: The salesman couldn't find the extra weights when I was at the store, and now I find out that they don't have them and I can't seem to be able to get them anywhere.......... I'll have to do without I guess...! I still can't believe that I bought the LAST ONE in my area....! I'm so glad I did. This putter is SOLID. I love it. EDIT: Found a set of weights in late November. There is one store in my area that has two sets left @ $40.00. Golf Galaxy has them on their site @ $60 some odd! Jspangler
I was just browsing the site when I came across this post and I can say I feel like Jim Furyk winning with a 30 dollar putter, minus the 10,000,000 bucks lol. Anyways I was at my local shop and I found the D66 model last one in stock for 55 bucks. I bought it because it was cheap and I figure I can give it a shot at that price, and now I can't get it out of my bag.
J-Blade
I traded in a Scottsdale B60 for an IWI D66. We're still in the "getting to know each other stage" too, but I'm rolling this better than any Scotty I've tried. Just super solid feel. mdgboxx
My Craz-E iWi Series is still in the bag, and at 72, it's not going anywhere.
