sup, internetters. anyone in the mood to start up our group again?

You can count me in. I'm sixty, coming back after a year off, and I'll be ready to play in a couple of weeks. Live in Crown Heights Lite, play at Lincoln, Hefner, some of the Edmond courses.

I just need an Adams f11 driver, and I'll be dislocating another shoulder soon.

P.S, i'll be moving to Tulsa at the beginning of July, so it'll be my last few times out in OKC this summer until I start making trips here again!

I am originally from Norman and moved to Tulsa about 5 years ago. There are some great public courses up here and there are some fantastic private clubs that are having insane deals for new members.

Some of the excellent public courses are;
Forest Ridge
Emerald Falls
White Hawk
LaFortune
Page Belcher
Battle Creek
Clary Fields

Some of the really nice private clubs offering great deals are:
Golf Club of Oklahoma
Meadowbrook CC
Broken Arrow Golf and Athletic Club

I played Jimmie Austin and Belmar more than any other clubs in Norman/OKC but I also enjoyed Lincoln West, Silverhorn, Conrad and Hefner. I used to be a member at the Trails years ago but haven't played there in years.

Hey guys. It's been awhile. Thanks to a busy year I've only managed about 3 rounds in 6 months. I'm still in Stillwater but will be permanently leaving in December for the AF. I'd definitely like to get some more rounds in before I leave, so if anyone wants to get some outings going let me know.

My name is Derek and I'm new to this site. I work downtown OKC and live in Edmond. I love golf and have been playing off and on (mostly off) since I was about 16 (27 now). I would definitely be interested in meeting up with you guys around any of the local courses and playing some golf and getting to know everyone.

No I'm not at Tinker but we play there a lot. I'm at stationed at Will Rogers. Yes Ben a military guy can get you on the course. I think it's under $30 for a round with a cart.

Guys can you tell me anything about Crimson Creek or Fairfax? I wanna try to get down there sometime and play these courses and thought a little insight might help in determining if they are worth the trip or not. Thanks in Advance.

Can't tell you about Crimson Creek - but stay away from Fairfax... not sure how pick you are about greens but they were insanely shaggy.

I'm new to the area and got in with a group of guys that travel. I have been here for about 4 months and we have yet to play the same course. We play OK and Northern Tx. Right now we average 10 to 12 people every Saturday.

Having said that we were trying to play Winter Creek this past weekend but the course was not open due to weather. Has anyone play it since the put the new greens in? How is it?

Anyone playing in the morning? 8-26-17 With all of the rain today, my group is playing down in Marlow. Nice course but I'm not driving to play the course 2 weeks in a row.

62 year old 10 handicapper on a good day looking for golfers available on weekdays in OKC area. I play Kickingbird and Hefner a lot but others as well.
