It looks like 2 or 3 sets of CG1 tours. I have set so I keep an eye out, but these are most popular irons that never get talked about. Seem to be all over the smaller events. I assume most will switch to the new forged 588 next year.

Thanks for pics as always. Interesting to see Ted Tryba at second stage in FL. Looks like he is sill gaming some combo of ping eyes/ping irons and TM woods. I thought he did a good job on TV (can't remember what network he was on).

They're all over the smaller events because Cleveland is the best in the business at supporting mini tour players. If you go to mini tour events (heck, even Nationwide events) you see a TON of Cleveland bags/gear.

its my home course. the course is in great condition. they grew out the rough quite a bit for that grass and it looks great. they are playing 8 as a long par 4 instead. some of the players are really tearing it up out there. i might go watch it tomorrow. will anyone from wrx be there?

I remember when Ted Tryba shot 61 at Torrey Pines in the late 90's and he had a bogey on the last hole too. I think he won at Memphis later that year. I watched him play at the Kemper Open several years ago. I remember that he flighted the ball low with his irons and he was using Ping irons then too. Probably using the same irons or model.

He was on The Golf Channel as a commentator on shows like Golf Central. I thought he was pretty good at that too.
