BST Users Who Don't Leave Feedback!!

What gives?
I guess I feel like complaining a bit about it.

You buy, trade, sell, and check the site daily for deals... You check your PM's from your phone and on the site everyday looking to see if that low-ball offer you made was accepted or denied.

But you can't for the love of all things golf, leave a simple note of feedback for any of your transactions? The system is there to enable us to reward the good guys, and weed out the bad apples. Yet people fail to do anything else. Low ball, get your item, won't say you got it, and then move on.

I've had so many more deals here that people just failed to leave feedback. They move on, don't leave it, say they will and won't or forget..

I try to send polite PM's after I've done a transaction to see if the buyer got the item, or to let them know I got the item. Then I leave feedback, and let the person know I left feedback. Some people don't look, or know, and others have so little, or so much they don't notice that someone didn't leave any.

It would be nice to initiate something after a deal, by the seller, to have both parties do feedback at the completion of the deal. Something generic even, a link that makes it stupid easy to click on, fills in the name, add your feedback and be done. No more or less time that sending a PM.

So, whats so hard about leaving feedback?

Here.. Try this link if it's so hard to find!

I bet if my feedback was correct it would be closer to 200. I usually send one message and if no response then one more polite quick message. Otherwise I'm not gonna keep bothering someone. I leave feedback as soon as the buyer pays as his part of the transaction is over. I expect the buyer to leave feedback when the package arrives and the next time he logs in, takes literally 20 seconds to do.

Well. It's not just buyer but also seller who doesn't want to spend any more seconds to leave feedback. I politely asked to leave a feedback after I put positive feedback for seller, but no response, nothing. I don't know whether there is any other way but to move on.

I bet i have had a few not leave me any (100+):beruo: , it take 10 seconds to do. Really don't know what gives..black%20eye.gif

Off the top of my head, one person hasn't left me feedback, who also dealt with you. He didn't leave you any as well, so I guess he's a habitual person about not leaving any for anyone.

You are overreacting. Feedback is not a big deal at all.

Nobody owes anybody anything. It's a business deal. Nothing more, nothing less.
Really, so letting the community know about how a person conducts themselves in a deal means nothing to you? I'm more comfortable dealing with someone that deals consistently and satisfactorily for people.

So, you vote we get rid of the feedback? You don't like knowing atleast a common theme of how people act when you buy?

I might be overreacting to so, but apparently you are in the minority about how irritating it is that people here want others to bail them out with help from a bad deal, but can't seem to assist it promoting our BST with feedback.

I'm going to start keeping non feedback leaving sellers/buyers on my ignore list. If your challenged enough to not leave feedback, I really don't want to risk trying to buy/sell something with you.

I wish the feedback tool was available in the mobile mode. I think a lot of folks check this site from their phone and just forget or don't bother to do it when they are on an actual computer.
I leave feedback all the time from my smartphone. I just switch over to the full version GolfWRX site, leave feedback and then switch back to mobile. Not a big deal.

As a buyer, I leave feedback after I receive the item and have inspected it carefully. Usually within 24 hours.

As a seller, I don't leave feedback until the buyer leaves me one.

Feedback is important to me as well when selling and buying. I feel more comfortable selling to someone with a few positive transactions. But I also have no worries selling to a member that's active on the forums too because most times if you hang around here enough you know the kind of person you are dealing with..

It's not mandatory because then it would leave even more work for the mods. Not something they are interested in I would imagine. I don't see it as mandatory either and hes right I guess, not a huge deal. Buts its not an inconvenience to leave and can only help better future experiences so why not leave it? It really makes no sense not to.

My Opinion:

I leave feedback when a buyer pays, and ask if he or she will do the same when the item arrives. I have been fortunate enough to deal with individuals who appreciate the value of a business deal gone right and have the time to inform others of their experience.

Feedback is also a tool for the buyer who has been burned in the past and is leary to buy from individuals on the internet.

Leave feedback please, a few seconds now can save you and others a headache later.

Is that supposed to hurt my feelings?

I have over 600 flawless transactions on my ebay account. All 100% feedback. Deal with whoever you want to.

Look the fact of the matter is that feedback in not mandatory. If someone doesn't want to leave it then so be it, but don't make a scene about it. Move on. It's not a big deal.

That is ignorant. Adding vaseline to the clubface is cheating. Your logic is flawed. Nothing is written in the rules that feedback is mandatory.

So before this turns into a morals and logic debate... why don't you just take a couple seconds and leave feedback? Too time consuming? You just feel like being difficult about it? Do you give feedback on eBay in return?

I also don't understand the logic behind not leaving feedback as a seller until the buyer does. To me, that's flawed and you're holding feedback ransom. The buyer's part of the transaction is over upon their payment. If they've paid you promptly, then there's no reason not to leave them feedback upon their payment. I always make it a point to leave it as soon as I get a notification that a payment has been made as long as I can access the site (sometimes I can't at work, they block it for a while, then I have to report it and then they unblock it again).
