A little birdie told me that someone told them to order the Tour RBZ in three main shafts for their store and one was a sleeper for sure. Xcon 6 or 7, I forgot which one was stock, Matrix RUL, and Fubuki alpha.

If I want to hit my 3 wood that much farther trying to reach a out of ordinary par 5 with a perfect lie and no trouble, I can just swing a little faster.

if you read my earlier statement, you would note that there are 14 clubs listed, I can only use 13, so I interchange the 5 wood and 2 hybrid depending on course and conditions.

I was at a store the other day and the TM rep was there showing them the new product. They let me hit the RBZ driver and fairway tour models. I'm not going to quote the distance off the simulator, but I did hit my clubs in comparison, and RBZ was quite a bit longer.

I keep seeing comments about how large the RBZ head is, but unless I'm reading something wrong, it is actually slightly smaller than the 2.0 head, TM site says 2.0 is 200 CC, RBZ is 197 CC for the 3 wood. the TP is more significant, 172 for RBZ and 152 for TP 2.0. Am I missing something?

For those of you asking why have a 3 wood as long as your driver: I'd assume any 3W is easier to hit off the deck (or from the rough) versus your driver. Additionally, I'd also have to assume that your driver is more forgiving than this 3W. Under this premiss, you can hit your forgiving driver from the Tee and still have length to reach damn near anything in 2.

Alternatively you could have one (Driver or 3W) set up predominately for a draw and leave the other set up for a fade. Choices, choices, choices....

TM did a focus group study and Rocketballz was the 2nd worst name in company history. Any ideas what the worst name was?

Where is it written that a fairway wood is easier for everyone to hit than a driver. I played today and three out of four of us agree that driver is easier and more consistant than 3 wood. I was one of the three. I'm sure people on here will say i'm crazy but thats my point. To many people on this forum want to tell everyone what they are supposed to like or dislike usually based on the posters likes and dislikes. Some want to hit their 3 wood as far as their driver. Others like myself hit a 4 wood because i don't want to hit my fairway wood so far. No right or wrong. Just personal preference.

I agree on the name, but if it is a better club, it's worth trying out. I hate the white and would try to make it black if possible.

However- TM has slowed down quite a bit this past year in the releases. They release it all at once, and then supplement it later down the road with an additional release. They release the same amount, just all at once instead of broken up now.
