VERY FIRST LOOK AT THE PING i20 IRONS

Just kidding, nice round. I did play i5's years ago and I think the i20's are better IMHO (appearance, forgiveness and so solid). On order after 20 or so balls on a simulator. They fealt that good.

LOL. Alright already. I'll be ordering them as soon as I get fit. Probably go with CFS X flex, but just want to be sure.

I went to a local PING fitting last friday and tested out the s56 and the i20 irons. I hit both incredibly but decided upon the i20's on Tuesday in the hopes of having a little bit of extra forgiveness on those days where the swing gets a little loose. My main concern was with keeping the ball flight down so the PING rep fit me in the following specs:

i20
3-PW
Blue Dot
+1/4 Inch
1* Strong
CFS Stiff Hard Stepped Once
PING ID8 Cord Grips


I can't wait to get these clubs in the bag to give them a shot. I have my fingers crossed that these irons will be "the ones" and temporarily put my "ho'ing" on the backburner for a year at least. I am tired of bouncing back and forth between irons trying to find something that gives me what I am looking for. It is hard being a lefty and trying to find sets/adjust sets/sell sets....

Don't know what your coming from but I think you will love the CFS shaft. I have the CFS stiff hard-stepped in my S56 irons and I am loving them. Nice crisp and tight feel with a strong penetrating flight for me.

Thx rurella....I hit the i20s in the simulator for about 30 min. I have had bad luck changing clubs in the past 5 yrs but I agree that the appearance of the i20's is far superior to the i5. I'm gonna wait and hit them on the grass...
