I found out today partially why that is(possibly), too. I called them because one of my purchases was for $55 after the coupon (and before my giftcard I got for Christmas) (Travis Mathew hat and belt). They had to locate them at an actual retail location before they could ship it out because they had none in the warehouse, and each one was at a different store. She apologized for the inconvenience and said she'd upgrade the shipping to overnight. I told her it wasn't necessary, I was just wondering if it'd ship or if it was cancelled because it was scheduled to ship today. She upgraded it anyway.

They are honoring ONE order. Which is what the code was meant to be for in the first place. So I don't see any problem with what they are doing.

They honored 4 of mine, of course they were all apparel (save one that was epoxy and an Epic) and they were all apparel they no longer carry. Regardless, they're honoring the code more than once. They didn't honor it for the discounted C-Tapers (which I knew they wouldn't, but it's like the lottery, can't win if you don't try). I'm surprised they honored as many as they did, and honestly, I'd have had zero problem if they'd have honored none. They honored more than enough for me, and I'm happy about it. If they honored none for some people, that sucks. But hey, try, try, try and eventually you'll score I figured.

Funny that a real order that I placed last week before this coupon fiasco was for the same thing and they only found the belt for me which came today. The other half of the order..... who knows if it will be cancelled or stay pending for months.

It seems you have totally missed the point in this situation. I have very little sympathy for you and your 15 orders and if they cancel and never come. 70 bucks that you spent, but how much did those 15 things whore GS out of?

You almost sound like somebody that gets food stamps and then demands them to be valid at Ruths Chris instead of the grocery store. Be grateful for what does come and leave it at that.

This is why this thread should be locked. This is way off topic and just people dancing around their political views without saying it outright. Lets keep it on topic, which at this point the deal is over and the only thing left is to wait for shipments.

I'm still debating the morality of this situation in my mind. Is it right to use a coupon code that obviously was not intended to be used by me? Is it ok to use it only once versus multiple times? Does it matter whether or not Golfsmith "Owes" me for past slow shipping etc.

I ended up canceling 3 out of 4 orders since one had shipped already, but I still feel sort of bad I have that one order coming. On the flip side, my canceled orders still show, "Pending," on my paypal account. The money was taken out right away. So...I've been waiting over 48 hours for that to be corrected.

The moral of the story for me is: I never should have ordered anything using the coupon code. It was the wrong thing to do. Ugh.
