Not really a great deal considering you can get them for $800 from Scratch if you guessed the winner of the super bowl, and they are selling 1018 for $100, direct from Scratch which is the best deal out ther IMO. Just a heads up.
I'm only seeing the 8620's for $99 direct from Scratch. Am I missing something?

I guess when the Scratch deal is over, the Kingdom59 deal isn't too bad. I was just looking at the Scratch website and the 1018 wedge main page says $149 (which I've always seen as $149), but when you go to the purchase page to customize, it shows up as $179? Have they raised their prices? The 8620 still shows as $99 though...

Hey joker....what a blanket statement to make.

As a K59 supporter, yes I like them and am happy to say so,that is just about the dumbest thing anyone could say. They bring us deals now since I think 2010, great deals by the way, they are not fly by nighters like Dogolf, Shotly, Naileditgolf and more, they are still going strong and while I doubt any business has a perfect track record with customers, I would put my money on the fact that they probably please considerably more people than are let down from time to time. To make an ignorant blatant statement to "watch out" for the many problems is a bit ridiculous. Problems occur, but these guys hardly seem to be in business to piss people off.

Your a charter member...oh wait, maybe they don't advertise here and that is why you think you can pass such judgement. Good for all of you other members who have decided to stand behind your experiences. I am sure they have f'd up here and there but by in large they have my vote cause I like deals on golf period. Scan the threads on this board and you find maybe 1 or two discussing issues. Out of probably many thousands of orders, that is hardly a warning sign.

Get off your soapbox, get to work on something cool and think before passing judgement. What have you done lately.

Signed: Sick of Fools

For my two cents. Scratch deals seems pretty good. Buy a lot online and from K59 and I have generally positive experiences. Peace. Love you all.

Passive aggressive? Shall we look up definition?

This is called direct, about as direct as can be. We are all supposed to love the game and yet time and again I see idiots bashing brands or companies of people who are trying to make the game better for us all. i.e Kingdom59, selling us new gear for less....oh that sucks right, bad for us golfers...come on. Rarely see this about advertisers on this fourm. It is easy to sit idly behind a computer and throw out one liners of dissent. Much harder to stand for something good and seek out positives.

Can you honestly think of any service related business that does not have customer issues from time to time. I can't, yet we golfers have this lovely forum where the one or two issues will be brought to light in much grander form than the probably hundreds to thousands that counter it. I get it, believe me I do, it is much easier and requires less intelligence to bash rather than reasonably consider ones thoughts.

Edel, too expensive for me, but cool looking. And if I did have the dough, I would opt for James Patrick custom. Whew!!! All this espousing of great wisdom is making me thirsty. Cocktail hour is upon me.

While minhjn could have worded it better, I certainly didn't think it could be considered bashing, and definitely not the "dumbest thing anyone could say". I too, am wary of placing an order with them because of the less than stellar reviews from other members...and it wasn't just a few isolated incidents either. I can understand errors and mistakes being made, but I've seen too many incidents about them that it's just more than coincidence and/or exceptions to their normal MO.

No, I haven't used them before, and I'm definitely NOT worried about getting scammed or anything like that, but I just don't want even the potential hassle of having to spend time dealing with problems with my order, if I do place one. And from what I've seen and read about them over the past year or so, that potential seems more likely than not.

Also, out of everyone who posts about a negative experience, I'm sure there are lots of others who have also had a negative experience and have not posted about it. And if there's this many complaints about them solely on this forum, what about the general golfing population that aren't members here?

I don't think they're selling gear for less out of the goodness of their hearts...it's their business model and strategy. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but perhaps their execution of said strategy could be better, especially as it relates to customer service. If they do, I'll be glad to give them my money and business.

As a Charter member I am a bit offended by your tone taken about charter members. Charter members are just members that have decided to monetarily support ($35 fee) the site we all love. We have no reason to only talk good about sponsors and bad about everyone else. This is probably the most unbiased golf forum on the internet. If you think that golfwrx charter members dont out sponsors of this site just look up gppgolf and the issues they have had here. I know of countless times there have been sponsors that have been "bashed" by members here.

All he was doing was trying to give people a heads up. I have ordered from Kingdom a few times. Always get the product but at times it is very very slow shipping.
Just as you are more than encouraged to share your good experiences on this site people are also encouraged to share their bad experiences here unlike many other golf forums. Most of the members here are about trying to make for a better golf community not just attract or keep sponsor on this site you do that by sharing both good and bad experiences.

I want to give the benefit of the doubt, but spidey senses are up, and I suspect this as well, or at least some sort of affiliation. Sorry but I have a little too much extra time on my hands since I can't play in the winter here in NYC, but a little digging has uncovered the following...he said this a little less than a year ago:

no affiliation whatsoever with this company other than I am a customer who has had no less than 6 positive experiences. I also love golf deals. sorry if that is a hot topic for me and sorry it gets under your skin. not sure why that is but I check it daily along with many other golf sites, and buy a lot from all of them. maybe you should get over it. given I have only been here four days, I would not yet have a breadth of topics of which I have been involved in, give it time. I also specifically came here after following a thread on K59 found on google and as a customer, I thought I would throw my experiences into the ring....isn't that what a forum is? are you upset that I actually had good feedback, or are you just generally uptight.

check back with me in a month JJ and I am sure there will be lots of discussions I find worthy. but last I checked, you do not dictate what I conversations I care about or choose to be involved in. that is up to me.

As of today, he has 26 total posts in 13 different threads, and out of those 13 different threads, only in 3 does he not mention Kingdom 59 at all. Two posts about the Masters and one post about Tiger, but 23 posts about Kingdom 59 and how fabulous they are. In the one post that he did create, guess what the topic is about? Yup, Kingdom 59.

His "breadth of topics" and "discussions I find worthy" apparently involve Kingdom 59 in a full 88.5% of his posts. Even in the Miura wedge giveaway, he mentions Kingdom 59:

http://www.golfwrx.c...ost__p__3351869

I can't seem to post a direct link but if you go to advanced search and put in his member ID in the "author" section, you'll see all of his 26 posts.

I'm not bashing Kingdom 59 in any way, other than the fact that I'm wary about placing an order with them based on negative feedback from other members. But this gandolph12 character comes on and passionately waxes poetic in this thread and past others, and then needs a drink (instead of servicing his customers)...sorry man, but if it looks like sh*t and smells like sh*t...

this is why so many bash wrx, members like you like you who have nothing but time on their hands and not much intelligent to say. I have already pledged my support for k59. wish I was the owner, that would be very cool indeed but to be a member of a forum where you are "busted" for supporting things you like is what makes wrx and members like you seem dousches. if you had something worthy to say other than "watch out" I may be inclined to post more often. please consider, now that I am three drinks in, I still have a hard time getting anything intelligent out of the vast majority of your posts I have been perusing. enjoy kiddies. thinking your smart is easy, being smart takes a bit more work. btw, individual experiences have a viewpoint, but the measure of any company on this site is for any reasonable human golfer longevity. bad companies will certainly fail, good companies will last. try to better your analysis next time. make sure to keep your little tally +1 in the K59 count.

http://www.golfwrx.c...ost__p__3351869

I can't seem to post a direct link but if you go to advanced search and put in his member ID in the "author" section, you'll see all of his 26 posts.

I'm not bashing Kingdom 59 in any way, other than the fact that I'm wary about placing an order with them based on negative feedback from other members. But this gandolph12 character comes on and passionately waxes poetic in this thread and past others, and then needs a drink (instead of servicing his customers)...sorry man, but if it looks like sh*t and smells like sh*t...

gandolph12 may not be the owner of Kingdome 59.. but in my books he is a troll.
Whether he is the owner or not. Kingdom 59 has him to thank for me never ever making a purchase off that site, especially if this is the type of "customer" they attract. As a business owner, this is the last type of person I would want defending my miscues.

Come to think of it, who in the world comes on a forum to vehemently defend and stick up for a website they claim to have no affiliation to? A forum that according to him is full of "douches". :good: Brilliant marketing tact by the way....attack your customer base which is golfers, on the largest golf forum on the web.

Give me a break dude :Schooled:

this is why so many bash wrx, members like you like you who have nothing but time on their hands and not much intelligent to say.

The only people who bash WRX are trolls or other nimrods who managed to get themselves banned for whatever reason. And you're definitely right about one thing...it was my mistake and I totally take it back...you can't possibly be the owner of Kingdom 59 because you clearly fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on your way down. That's all I have to say to you for now...I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person...

Wow, dude is doing himself no favors. A guys simply wants others to be careful as many others have had bad experiences (which are well documented) and gandolph goes on a huge rant attacking minhjn and the rest of us. Great strategy for earning respect and getting people listen to what you have to say. Hey, why don't you keep bashing us, if you do it enough, were bound to come around eventually right? If you hate this site and its members so much...stay away

good riddance. no one here selling anything, just mocking a bunch of little people who think they are impressive by ripping brands online which is quite easy to do from your anonymous post. your not cool because you can hide behind your computer. Name is Craig and live in SF. Buy from all but am not so f****** on my horse that I feel the need to critique every single experience. I guess that comes from intelligence of how things work and how difficult it is to make something cool happen in business and life. if you had a clue, you might take a more tactful, supportive and knowledgeable approach to your commentary.

I could care less if you want to shop K59. The point is to be respectful of those that are trying (THAT IS A KEY WORD) to do things....anything. What are you doing? better to try than sit back and b****. b****.

Using the phrase “could care less” actually means that one does, in fact, possess a measurable level of caring, concern or interest of a given situation and is contradictory to the context in which that phrase is commonly used. The use of “could care less”, in fact, expresses that one does care, have an interest, or a level of concern about a topic or situation.

Attempting to convey a position that one has no interest or concern would require the use of the phrase “couldn’t care less”, which indicates a state of mind completely devoid of caring, interest or concern. If one cannot care less, the indication is a level at which one could not possibly care less because he/she already does not care at all.

Incorrect usage: “I could care less what he thinks…” – meaning one does care and possesses a measurable level of caring from which feeling could be subtracted.

Correct usage: “I couldn’t care less what he thinks…” – meaning one does not care at all and thus it would be impossible to care any less or subtract feeling where none exists.
