I can't believe that any adult male would have this much emotional turmoil built up about k59 popularity?!?! What?!?!
It seems there is a little bit more than drinking going on...actually a lot more! In case you haven't heard gandolph (aka lord or the k59) cocaine is a powerful drug. Please, do everyone a favor, most importantly yourself, just say no!

good riddance. no one here selling anything, just mocking a bunch of little people who think they are impressive by ripping brands online which is quite easy to do from your anonymous post. your not cool because you can hide behind your computer. Name is Craig and live in SF. Buy from all but am not so f****** on my horse that I feel the need to critique every single experience. I guess that comes from intelligence of how things work and how difficult it is to make something cool happen in business and life. if you had a clue, you might take a more tactful, supportive and knowledgeable approach to your commentary.

Listen up, you mental midget...not one person has "ripped" K59 in this thread...the one thing someone said was K59 had a lot of problems with orders in the past, which is absolutely true. All the other posts, including mine, was the fact that it isn't a GREAT deal per se. Until you stepped in and affirmed your place in the shallow end of the gene pool.

Your name is Craig and you live in SF? Conveniently only 15 miles from K59's headquarters, eh? Just another coincidence, right?

Kingdom59 Corporate Headquarters
205 Park Road Suite 211 Burlingame, CA 95476

Anyone want to call K59 HQ and ask for a Craig? The definition of insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result...if, in the .5% chance you're NOT somehow affiliated with K59 and want to see them do well, I'd suggest you just shut your blowhole before K59 loses even more customers. Stupidity, unfortunately, isn't a crime, so you are free to leave...peace out!

Using the phrase "could care less" actually means that one does, in fact, possess a measurable level of caring, concern or interest of a given situation and is contradictory to the context in which that phrase is commonly used. The use of "could care less", in fact, expresses that one does care, have an interest, or a level of concern about a topic or situation.

Attempting to convey a position that one has no interest or concern would require the use of the phrase "couldn't care less", which indicates a state of mind completely devoid of caring, interest or concern. If one cannot care less, the indication is a level at which one could not possibly care less because he/she already does not care at all.

Incorrect usage: "I could care less what he thinks…" – meaning one does care and possesses a measurable level of caring from which feeling could be subtracted.

Correct usage: "I couldn't care less what he thinks…" – meaning one does not care at all and thus it would be impossible to care any less or subtract feeling where none exists.

Gandolph's posts eerily sound like the responses members have received from customer service. Coincidence, I think not.

So, if he had a bad experience with them, or knows others who have, he should not bring it up as to no upset them? I'm sorry, but if someone has a bad experience, I want to know about it. Does it mean that I won't do business with them? Of course not. If I find more positive review than negatives, then I'll consider them. You are absolutely ridiculous. I think maybe you need to get off your soap box. This is in the Deal or No Deal forum. In case you didn't know, people typically will post their good and bad experiences alike here. Get over yourself champ.

Their Superbowl special is likely over, but you might want to give Scratch a ring directly to see if they'll still honor it:

Not sure if Discount Dan's carries Scratch but you could try them. Most of the online retailers carry the wedges but I haven't seen too many Scratch iron sets for sale online...

Good Morning GolfWRX!

My name is Alan Parker and I am the Founder of Kingdom59. I decided to create an account this AM after this thread came to my attention.

In full disclosure:

The company address posted earlier is correct and my direct contact information is also available on our site for anyone interested in reaching me. I look forward to speaking with anyone who takes their time to reach out to us. Kingdom59 launched in August 2010 and recently relocated to our Peninsula location. We are fans of GolfWRX and respect the rights for any individual to express their opinions about our business, good or bad. This forum provides a great service for many and we are clear about it's ability to impact perception. We do know Craig and he is a friend of the site and a good customer. While we appreciate his good intentions, his level of tact and decorum leave us desiring much more from those who take it upon themselves to defend our business. I am here to put myself out there and have no need to hide behind anyone. My team and I are very proud of Kingdom59 and what we have built in a short period of time.

Onward:

Needless to say, this was not the reading I was looking forward to with my morning coffee and it is clear the impact of his words has been detrimental to who we are and what we are trying to build with our brand, not to mention our brand partners. We do try to uphold the core values of the game in our daily interactions with members and we ask the same from them. This clearly failed to meet that standard and while we are in no position to direct his opinions or those of others, we have asked him kindly to keep Kingdom59 and myself personally in mind the next time he decides to voice his thoughts.

Personally, I am not here to pitch you or change your minds about previous experiences you may have had with us. While we have failed to meet our service level expectation on occasion, we know that overall we please many golfers. I can only ask that you please reserve your judgment for Kingdom59 based on personal interaction with our team. We are small, focused and dedicated to providing our members with value. Period. We have made mistakes as a new business during our first year, learning each time with the goal to improve and build a something we are proud of. If I can't be a part of that type of environment, I would certainly move on to something else.

Thank you for allowing me the time to respond. I am hopeful doing so can earn us some measure of respect from this community, however I realize this is largely out of our hands. We are here to help, not hurt the game. We know we will fail from time to time yet remain committed to this goal.

Sincerely,

Alan Parker

So why not post this from your newly created account rather than gandolph's? It almost seems like it was you the whole time, I realize of course that he could be relaying this info for you, but it does seem odd.

So the plot thickens. Alan, while it's great that you composed that message and addressed some of the issues, you mentioned full disclosure in your note. So in the true interest of full disclosure, what exactly is "Craig's" involvement with your site, and why are you posting from HIS GolfWRX account?

Craig is in fact my young, proud, hot-headed and well intentioned brother in law who upon realizing the error of his ways brought this to my attention this AM. I appreciate the action to correct his misguided attempts to uplift my business. He is not on our payroll but as mentioned enjoys the affiliation when he can do it well. I have made it clear he is fired as a brother in law if this happens again. ;-)

I did create an account this AM, but have not yet been granted access to reply to this thread and am thus using his account (he is sitting here) now to do just that. Sorry I did not think to communicate this in my first entry, but my focus was on addressing the audience and I prefer personal information/relations remain just that.

I do not plan on participating on GolfWRX all that often, but will stay abreast and be available to reply when needed to address a situation if that is permitted.

Thanks again for allowing me to respond and interact. Craig will be disabling his GolfWRX account as of now.

Seriously? :WTF:

I realize it's tough to run a business, but you may want to hire a PR firm to clean up the shrapnel "Craig" has left behind. As well as do some damage control as it relates to your company.

This was recently posted on another forum regarding your site.

"The site is a scam, Alan Parker of Kingdom 59 solicited your emails and will rip you off. I was his web developer and he tried to steal my work and server without paying a penny for it. Any person who does business that way cannot be trusted with your credit card info for ecommerce. He could easily save all your credit card info. Don't trust his store, and don't trust the man behind it. You've been warned."

Alan,

Forgive me for my skepticism, as "Craig" gave us plenty of evidence to doubt anything connected with Kingdom 59, but if "Craig" is in fact your brother-in-law, and whether you were aware of his shilling for K59 or even sanctioned or encouraged it (it makes no difference whatsoever to me either way), I will not do business with K59 and will discourage anyone who's considering making a purchase.

Can you honestly say that you were absolutely NOT aware of his shilling for K59 posts on WRX over the past year? And if you were NOT aware (which I truly find hard to believe), then I don't know what to say about your business...especially one that deals with golf equipment and a social networking-based marketing strategy.

Perhaps my stance will change in the future when "affiliated" people cease to shill for your website, but more importantly, improve your operations. Until that happens, the damage done with this one thread alone made you lose at least a handful of potential customers, and probably more.

I'm just one single potential customer, but if you truly believed in your operations, quality of service, and all that other good stuff, I would bet the word-of-mouth publicity you would receive from this section of the website alone would dramatically increase sales, without having to resort to shady activities, as evidenced clearly by your "brother-in-law".

Because at the rate "Craig" has been posting, I'm not sure his account will be active much longer.

Your brother-in-law just destroyed any credibility you may have had with this site, just like the clown that was working for Edel. Rule #1 in sales/service: Don't bite the hand that feeds you. "Craig" just did an excellent job of pissing off your customers.

I am now able to post from my new acount.

Listen, I have put myself in front of this audience to address this head on but am not going to be pulled into a back and forth.

Frankly, while I appreciate and respect all direct customer feedback, I simply do not have the time nor the inclination to track anonymous postings about our business across the internet, whether it is a 12 month old post by a disgruntled developer or those made by someone named Gandolph. I find it rather unproductive and after 20 years spent in the tech/online business I have learned it is not something that can be reasonably managed as there will always be good and bad things said and that is largely out of the control of any given brand. We had no insight into the posts being made, and I do not wish to continue to allow them to take me away from the core of our business.

As previously stated, I do not condone the actions or posts that have been made by Craig given his relationship to me. Period. That being said, I do believe that anyone should be able to post whatever they wish, good or bad. That is what a forum is all about and it is each individuals right to do so. However, when I found out it was being done by someone close to me and my business, I immediately put an end to it. These are the facts.

With regard to your decisions to be a customer or not, those are yours to make. I have said my peace and respectfully addressed this issue. We are good people trying to do good work and provide value to our members. That is all. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thank you. If you would like to speak with me directly and learn more about who we are what we stand for, I welcome your contact. I can be reached at alan@kingdom59.com.

Thank you.[quote name='stage1350' timestamp='1328653945' post='4233313']
