I have 4 rounds on mine and am super impressed. Don't particularly care for look of 4 and 5 irons as they are quite clunky BUT they play more like a hybrid. Cant remember the last time I hit a four iron 215 yds. Feel is great too.

I was pleasantly surprised with the stock shafts. Seemed better than the Burner 2.0 stock but they are probably the same shaft

3-4-5 are like hybrids... my review is pretty much done as is.... but I thinking about reshafting a few irons to possibly up my opinion since the shaft I choose is not the best fit... it seems the hosel has a plastic portion at the top, now I know I need special undercut ferrules like some past TM irons.... but does anyone know if that thing melts ?..it is something that is replaced with shaft changes ? inquiring minds..

nevermind.. I melted that little plastic piece right off... does not appear to do anything unless you want to use those special undercut ferrules (which I dont).. all is good, just stuck old reliable (s400) in the 4iron. Now I'll be able to see and feel how the long irons really feel with a shaft I know well.

It's weird I feel like the Burners go a bit farther but I guess not.... The Burners have the stock shaft, and KBS in the RBZ's. This is my first time trying KBS shafts. The other difference is the KBS are about 1/4 inch shorter in length per iron...

I had a lesson @ Crystal Springs today with Greg Coplin where KascoPro (Zach) teaches, he let me hit his RBZ 8 iron.... I currently have r7 tp irons.

The RBZ felt great in my hands, a little heavier than my irons, but boy was the contact pure and solid. Ball actually felt like it flew off the clubface, was pretty impressed - I'm really interested in em now...

I have not checked with a caliper, but to my eye the sole looks thinner on the short and mid irons and wider on the long irons.

Reft you are due for a new set. Next time you come out you can play a round of golf with them to try them on the course

Just by appearance, I saw nothing in the RBZ that would make me want it. The RBZ are thicker topline, wider sole, than 2.0's. Everyone has their "I can't stand to look at it" limit, and for me the 2.0's are OK and the RBZ are too big. On the other hand, I much prefer the R9 and R11 appearance to the 2.0's, but the 2.0's definitely perform better for me. I may have to give the RBZ a chance, appearance be damned.

[u][b][b]RBZ Iron Review[/b][/u]

Pros:[/b] The RBZ irons are very forgiving and easy to hit. The short irons are very clean and traditional looking. The long irons have the look of a driving iron but are great confidence boosters. For a game improvement iron they have a very sold feel. The grey satin finish helps to set up well behind the ball.

[b]Cons: [/b]My main concern was that the non-traditional long irons take a while to get used to the offset and thick top line. I may have to re-configure my wedge setup because the RBZ PW goes miles. I would really preferred if all of the irons had the same shape as the shorter irons.

[b]Bottom-line:[/b] If you are looking for a forgiving set of irons that go far, the RBZ irons are for you! If you like the Burner 2.0s, the RBZs would be a great upgrade.
