First Look: Crocs Golf Shoes!!

Friday was a good day for a few reasons. I got an A on an english test, got to play golf, and last but certainly not least, I got a box from Crocs. Inside were 2 pairs of unrealesed golf shoes! These have not hit the market yet, but will drop sometime in the near future. I will post more information when I know more.

Those actually look pretty sweet for a young buck such as your self MD. I'm too old, my son would call me a poser in those i think. How do you think the traction will be on those? I have always been concerned that these spikeless shoes just won't grab the earth well enough. The do look super comfortable thats for sure.

i know the owners and inventors of crocs i stayed with them as a host family for a hockey trip just thought i would share...... it makes me feel cool lol!!!!!!! They look so comfy

I'm liking the white ones a lot. I'd wear those off the course too (if I was going casual). They look better than the running shoes I usually wear off course.

What are the "nubs" like on the soles for traction. It's hard to tell from the pics, but if possible could you compare to say the ecco streets or other spikeless varieties, if you've tried them.

I had very low expectations when clicking on this thread, but those few pictures really changed my mind. The black ones look very nice indeed. White aren't too bad, not a fan of the wing tip look, but not bad looking shoes at all.

I like the looks of those. Could do with a red or blue stripe instead of the green. I'd have to see the nubs in person before deciding.

Are the toes leather or the suede looking material like on some of the other spikeless?

where you live I couldn't imagine you could use those for more than two months of the year. When i was up there I used metal spikes because it was so wet. I like the look but think it would look dumb on guys over 50 and I don't like not having spikes.


edit. when is hank haney going to release golf clubs that are sold through walmart. That guy is a joke. he would do anything for a buck.

Ehh i just cant get into this styling of shoes. not for me. I'm more of a classics kind of guy. Nice looking if your into that style though! That's very cool that you are that close with the owner of Crocs.

Forgot to mention, they run about a size small. Unfortunatly, the black pair they shipped is a pair of 11's, which fit like 10's, and I am an 11 in all other shoes. If anyone wants to buy them, let me know. Thanksfully, they gave me a 12 in the whites, so they must be aware of the issue.
