Golf Related Groomsmen Gift Ideas? UPDATED

First off, CONGRATS!

When I got hitched about 3 years ago, I got my guys some custom putters via Chris & Lamont at LUX /SSB Golf. All the gents really liked their flatsticks, they were a big hit! I know at least one of the guys still games his!

Customized with their name/nickname and the date, but no so flashy that they couldn't be used full-time.

I'm getting hitched in . . . . . . . 3 weeks . . . . . . . . . my Lord . . . . . . .

I got different groomsman gifts for everyone involved. Who needs another flask? I wanted to get these guys something not only they'd love, but something they'd beat to death for years.

One of my groomsmen is an officer in the Special Forces -- got him an engraved custom Benchmade with a 5.5" blade and a Surefire. My other buddy is an outdoors guy, crazy about his ATVs, bought him a 3 piece PIAA HID kit for his vehicles with different hookups for each of the bikes (way more than I figured it'd run, but whatever) had them engraved with an inside joke. Getting him away from the bikes long enough was the hardest part, he kept wondering what I was up to. My brother, always loved my Del Mar BB, I sent it into the Custom Shop, had it changed to his Alma Matters colors, and engraved. My last Groomsman is a bit of a wanderer but hikes,camps, fishes, dives, kayaks, etc so I figured a Victorinox Chrono was up his alley -- rubber deployment, nice piece -- bulletproof and something you'd trust and not worry too much about destroying.

I just wanted to get the guys something they'd all put to use rather than tuck away, lose, or whatever.

I got 4 dozen Pro V1's for my groomsmen.

Nothing better than seeing your name or nickname on a ball....especially for my friends as they are finance guys in NYC with big egos (haha)!

Since we got married at my club I got my groomsmen AME driver headcovers with the clubs logo and their names. I also took all of my groomsmen (7 of them) on a nine hole golf outing at the club on the morning of my wedding. Whole thing ended up being pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

I like the personalized nfl headcover suggestion in one of the earlier posts as well. I'm sure either way your groomsmen will love the gifts.

I'm late to the game but figured I would comment since I contemplated the same thing when I got married. FYI...great pick with what you did on the head covers, those are awesome. All my groomsmen enjoy golf and aren't all good at it but we also all like beer so I had got each of them a set of 4 pint glasses with a golfball imprint on the bottom of the glass and had their last name initial engraged on the side. The website was [url="http://www.theglassfox.com"]www.theglassfox.com[/url] and the work was outstanding as well as the customer service since 1 glass came broken and they told me to throw it away and they would send a new one. There is a golf section on that site. Just an FYI for anyone else looking.

I think the best groomsmen gift is caricature from photo in golf theme!) It's so cool to bring all the groomsmen together on the drawing.
