Will Bridgestone release Davis Love III's prototype J40 MB's?

Every time I see DLIII's bag I see he has a prototype J40 MB's in his bag, does anyone have any information on whether Bridgestone will release this club to the public?

No. Discussed several times. Bstone had no plans to release them as they just don't sell enough MB's to justify the production and distribution costs. They did reach out to GolfWRX through a mod after we all noticed them in Love's bag when he made the switch to the Bstone. They wanted to determine if there would be enough interest to justify releasing them. Even though we have a ton of people who would love a set of J40 MB's, it's honestly not enough from them to make them.

You can buy them...but they'll be badged as Tourstage (their Japanese version) and will cost a pretty penny.

What Tourstage model are these [b]exactly[/b]? I know the J40CB is the XBlade705M but can't find any info on the blade.

They are the Xblade 905. TSG has the on their site if you want to see what they look like.

Just not the same without the huge B etched on the toe! I need to match my bag.

Either have to get Tour status OR get the Bridgestone Rep to sell you his and help him possibly have to find another job...

Yeah. They won't. Just like they didn't release the J38 he gamed (tourstage 901, my current gamer). The x-blade 905 is pretty amazing from all reviews I've heard. Definitely next on my list.
