Taylormade new players/TP irons?

As far as I could tell, they were not forged. They did not have a lot of markings on them. They did not have a TP badge on them but they were definitely a “b” version of the iron. Very squared look at address with a thin top line. Not as thin as the r9 tp b irons but a very nice looking club. A club that I will be playing.

I believe these are just the budget balls in the lineup.

All the names of the 2013 stuff is in our inventory system at Golf Galaxy already. I'm sure more of this has been said but I thought I'd share.

3 new irons I saw called Rocketbladez. STD, TP and Max

There is also a driver listed as "R1" and I appears it comes in one loft like the new cobra.
Fnally the new RBZ stuff is listed as "RBZ stage 2". STD and Tour heads. TP models too.
Along with a "RBZ stage 2" fairway and adjustable fairway. I'm guess there are hybrids too.
I have a picture of the inventory list if anyone cares.

Jaws is the codename for the new TP golf ball. It will be named something different entirely when released.

Great info jmygolf. I heard that they new RBZ fwys are going to be pricey too, maybe they are using Ti or something? I wonder why they are going away from adjustability in the RBZ driver but are adding adjustability in the RBZ fwys and hybrids???

Non-adjustable fwy is 250, adjustability will cost you more than that.

Because they want every dime they can get from you. There is nothing that they are doing that can justify what they will charge for the latest and greatest. Now let me say that they have every right to charge what they want, but I would hope that people sitting back will see through all their marketing. I will keep playing my Wishon 949mc knowing that the current TaylorMade fairways are inferior and much more expensive.

I was hoping to make the move back to a TaylorMade driver this year as they have always been my favorite since the 200. Very interested about the R1 driver. Would already have gotten in line with cash in hand if there was going to be a black color option. Bummed about that.
