1 under 71, 34 on the front, 37 on the back (played the back first though). I also had 2 3-putts on the day, and I missed a short birdie putt or 2. I just didn't really miss a shot all day, I made 3 bogeys, 2 were from 3-putts- I didn't putt the best, but I had some really nice putts that I holed. I hit like, 14 or 15 GIR I think, so I really didn't have to do much other than sink the occasional putt to shoot that.

Another round at a different course I was -3 through 16 holes in match play, but I won 4&2, so I didn't get to play the final 2 holes. I had made 7 birdies, 5 of which I actually made (2 were gimmies, but both were makeable putts). I made everything that day, I only had 20 putts through 16 holes.

Best round, score-wise was a 72, par 70, (8 under hcp) but it was easy scoring conditions. Could have easily been under par, because I lost 2 balls and had two 3-putts.

My all-time best round was a 73, par 69, because it was raining and very windy most of the way round... I was very pleased with that performance.

My best score for 18 is a 62, but here is the kicker! The front nine was closed for aeration, so my buddy and I played the back twice. I really did not know how well I was playing until my buddy said to me "you know you are nine under" walking to #18. I started to think about it and I had a bogey on the last hole to shoot a smooth 62. I just remember having fun and not thinking about score and HAVING FUN! I really wish I could of played the front because the course record is 64. I love this damn game! My best 18 hole score playing both nines is 66 and it started with a double!

My best round ever was at my home course, the Emirates golf club in Dubai. I played off the black tees which are not usually allowed to play as they are reserved for the Dubai Desert Classic. I shot a 69 off a par 72, which i was pretty impressed with considering the course was playing 7650 yrds.

69 on a 7650 yard course!!!

Thats some really really impressive play. Wow thats good.

Anyways, my best is a 66 out at Kananaskis on the Kidd course. I shot a 32 (-4 on the front starting off par, eagle, birdie, par, birdie, birdie, par then bogeyed the 8th which is a par 3 and a par on #9) On the back I pared every hole except for 17 and 18. 17 is a short par 4 pretty straight forward hole, bunker in the front i hit my approach to around 8' and made the putt, 18 is a 642 yard par 5. I hit driver to about just under 300 yards from the pin about 275 to the front hit a 3 wood to about 5 yards from the green and hit my chip to about 2 feet and then made the putt for a 34 on the back and a 66 total.

One of very few bogey free rounds I have had in my golf career probably can count them all on one hand.

In tournament play my best round has been a 69(-3) for one round and for a 4 round tournament a 285 (70, 73, 70, 72) or -3 total for a T2. The winner who was 1 back of me going into the final day and fired a 68 and won by 3. He just sunk everything he had.

My best round was in a tournament at Fort Huachuca AZ in 1997. It was the 4th of July tournament and I shot a bogey free 65. 33 on the front and 32 on the back. I missed an 8 foot putt on 18 for birdie, and that was the only missed putt of makeable distance. The best shot was a 10 putt for par 13. The course was not the hardest course I have ever played, but the pins were tucked. Everybody was complaining about the course, and then my friend walked into the 19th hole and said if anybody thought the course was too tough, then they could come talk to me. It was rather funny, because I was just sitting in the corner minding my own business. I came back the second round and was bogey free for the tournament until I hit the last hole, which was the 9th hole due to starting on the back nine. Then I bogeyed it for a 70. Best tournament weekend of my like and I won by 15 shots.

Best high school tournament was when I shot -4 on an executive course after shooting 81 on a par 72 course. Ended up moving from the middle of the pack to taking second. Made up about 10 shots on the field.

Nowadays, I am lucky to go out an shoot par. I just wish that it came back as quick as it goes away.

Well i was in a qualifier for the nissan open last year. I go 34 on the front, and on the back i am at 2 deep going into 18 and i had to par or better to make the cut. Well i go on and 3 putt the frickin hole- get to the club house sign score cards and a guy walks up and tells me i missed the cut by one. I was like your joking rite. I had the 3rd best score that day. I was pissed to say the least. That was my best round and worst. Score wise i have fired some mid 60's. But to me they don't mean s*** unless they mean something(tourney). When your out screwing around and playing is one thing but when the pressure is on it is a hole different ball game. :) still me today for that damn 3 putt

Not my best score but my best round. Actually best score came the next day (it was a good weekend, long weekend too). It was on a morning where visiblity was a maximum of 30 metres all day because of the fog. In fact, it was the worst visibility in Melbourne for a couple of decades.

Anyway, I started the round pretty decently, few pars. My play wasn't actually phenominal (phenominal for me that is). I wasn't peppering flags or driving long.

What I did right that day was my ball striking. I hit 13 of 14 fairways. 16 of 18 green in regulations. I couldn't even see where I was hitting it! Doing that it is pretty easy to see how ended up with 2-over for the round. It's not hard to two putt and give yourself a couple of opportunities birides when you make 16 of 18 GIR. I ended up winning the tournament by 4 shots.

The next day, I had the best round of my life on a different course and good weather. Actually to be honest, my ball striking this day wasn't as good as the day before. I was hitting it alright. Straight enough and the right distances.

Having a lot of confidence from the day before, I just plodded along and before I knew it, I realised that I was one under through 15 holes, the first time that I had actually been under par for longer than the 2nd hole. I was exited. Now normally here I would collapse, because I would be thinking make three pars. Not this time. My mind was on auto pilot and I came to the last one under.

The last hole at this particular course, is a 390 metre par. Trees on the left, bunkers all the way down the right, a bottle neck at about 200 metres of about 6 metres wide. I was nervous. I had never played this well before.

As I took back the club on the tee shot, I aborted because I didn't feel comfortable. Lucky. I started my pre-shot routine again and this time I told myself to relax and think of Ernie Els. I always do that in nerve racking situations. I made one of the slowest and smoothest swings of my life: straight towards the right trap. It didn't matter that it drew back into the middle because I flew the trap and hit the down slope. I hit the thing at least 300 metres! (Lucky I hit the downslope because I only hit the ball around 240 metres.)

I pulled out my pitching wedge and was going to hit it three-quarters so that I could swing it easier and relax. I got so nervous that I nailed the thing 20 feet by. Damn. The hole was cut on a slight slope and I had to putt up a hill, get it just to the top, then down the other side to the hole. I wanted an uphill putt.

At this point, I desparately needed a two putt to finish under par for the first time, let alone even par.

What came next was one of the most nervous putts of all time. But I managed to put the ball one foot by putting uphill to finish with par and a one-under round.

I walked up to it to tap it in. A one footer is a gimme. Yep, you guessed it. I missed. Don't worry, I didn't suffer any self-inflicted harm afterwards. You just have to laugh at these things. It turned out that I had some sand on the putter face.

So, in the end I finsihed even par and learnt a good lesson: Always check your putter face.

Man I can't believe more than half of this.

I believe Gavin though because I know he's really good.

There are definitely liars in here. There's just no way so many people have been shooting in the 60's.

What good does lying do? No one on here knows you, and they most likely never will.

Now I'm not really the kind of person to jump to conclusions, but c'mon guys...

I agree. It really is a shame to see this. Funny how everyone that plays is automatically an amazing player.

Sorry...how can you say this??

You don't know anyone on the board...be more respectful I think to the golfers here.

We all know there are people who don't shoot in the 60's but say they do, we know people don't hit the ball as far as they say they do, we probably even know some people don't have the clubs they say they do.

Theres no need to call people out on it...just let it be...

Anyways...I took up a trip up to Edmonton this summer while working at Kananaskis, we played Blackhawk, Mayfair and Nothern Bear...great tough courses, Northern Bear was a doozie from the back.
