Houston GolfWRX Member Golf Outing

Calling all Houston Area (not limited only to those who live in the greater Houston and surrounding comunities) GolfWRX members:

I would like to set up a golf outing for us all to get to know each other and maybe make some new friends.

I play at Woodforest Golf Course on Tuesdays (special price on Tuesday is $40.00 including tax) and think that it would be a great place for a bunch of us to get together. I work retail and am off on Mondays and Tuesdays and thought that if we could get together a bunch of us it would be lots of fun.

I realize that many of you work M-F 8-5's but for those who are able to play during the week it could be a blast!

Great Course, excellent fast greens (almost always kept at a 12 on the stimp) was called Fish Creek Golf Course for a number of years, and is located just outside the NW corner of The Woodlands.

Was thinking Morning golf and then right down the street is a great place to eat and have a cold one called Tailgators.

If we can garner some interest I would be glad to organize and make the Tee Times.

Please respond here and we will decide on a date for FORE!!!!!

I am also open to other locations to play just think that the quality and condition at Woodforest is excellent.

If it were not for the summer heat, I would love to do this. I am teeing off about 5:30 p.m. these days and playing until dark to beat the heat. If another opportunity comes up in, say, late September or in October, that would be perfect for me.

I'd love to play.. I can usually come in late to work and stay late, or vice versa as long as I get my work done. I played Woodforest for the first time last week and was blown away. I've been itching to play it again since.

If we get this setup for a date before Aug 22, when I start classes again at SHSU, then I'd love to play. Aug 13 would be nice as that's my birthday and it's a Monday.

Hey good day for a birthday! Same as mine ( just a few ((ok, more than a few)) years earlier). My in laws actually live in April Sound, at some point I'll get down to the area again and maybe get to hook up with some people to play.
