I have a 9.5 i20 with an AD DI-6x in it, and it's the best driver I have ever owned. I was looking for a driver that would launch a bit lower (I play on a link course where I can count on one hand the number of wind-free days), would spin less, yet give a sufficient amount of forgiveness... The i20 gives me all of this, and the AD DI feels amazing.

It's not for everyone though. A friend of mine bought exactly the same after seeing me hit mine, and he can't hit it to save his life.

Can't help you with the UST shaft I'm afraid, although I have read some positive reviews on here about it.

I've had an i20 with the PX Black shaft and that launched very high but went very well to be honest, just a touch too soft. I moved onto a R11 with a Motore Speeder VC 6.2 which worked well but I didn't like the feel from the R11 head. I've borrowed a Demo i20 with a RIP'd NV and this too launchs high but feels ok. I love the looks and feel of the i20 head, I'm hoping to lower the launch a little with either of these shafts... What shaft did you use before the AD DI and how much did it lower your launch?

BTW, what Links course do you play? I'm lucky having a bunch of top Links within an hours drive, just a little to far to be a member of them though.

Quite ironic this as i have the i20 with a PX6.0 and although it definitely is the straightest driver i have owned and do not hit it too high i do feel i lack distance (BTW think the good dispersion and lower ball flight might have something to do with the Harrison Shotmaker, have you tried one?) so would like to try the AD BB-5 S and just got a quote for $256 which i think is pretty good. Unfortunately cannot demo or get on a flight monitor were i live (Malaysia). If i go with this will let you know how it goes.

I have a Razr fit with the silver Vts 67, and it is a very smooth and stable mid launch shaft. I've tried the Di in a Nike Pro Ltd, and thought it was nice as well, but is signifigantly more dollars than the Vts.

Before the AD DI I used a Fubuki Tour 63, then before that a PX Tour issue, and before that a Speeder 757. The Fubuki was fitted in a 9.5 FT Tour, which went in to orbit, and the LM showed that with the i20 I had reduced my launch angle by 2 degrees to 12.1 and reduced my spin by 810 rpm to 2010 on average.

I play at Princes and at Royal St Georges.

Very nice! I've managed to play royal Liverpool, S&A, Hillside, Fairhaven and St.Anes old links so far this year, I'm mulling over dropping the £££ on a Round at Birkdale or a trip to Turnberry in September.

I returned the Ping Anser driver I got yesterday from AG (without hitting it) and have put the credit towards a 9.5 i20 with GD AD DI-6 in stiff, face angle 1 degree open. They will contact me tomorrow when they place the order to get me a delivery time.... Cant wait to get it I just hope it performs in my hands!

I ordered my i20 with Tour AD DI 6 in stiff. I requsted 9.5 degrees and face angle a degree open. Its gonna be a 2 week wait.... I start nights for 7 shifts tonight then I have a week off, I hope this driver arrives in time for my rest days!!! This is the most expensive driver I've ever ordered at £349, I think the next was a TM 360R back in the day when titanium was considered a semi presious metal. I recieved some PPI money back this week and have spent it quickly, I also got a set of S56's with KBS Tour shafts, these were a bargain at £200. The rest of the money was spent on a car but i wont bore you with the details of that.
