Forged Iron for average player

I finally bought Mizuno MX-950 irons. They are hybrid set like Adams but forged. What a good combination....

Anyone play with Mizzy MX-950?

MX 200s are pretty close in forgiveness. Hands down the easiest to hit forging they ever produced, you should be looking at these rather than MX300s if that's your primary consideration.

Lastly, recently picked up a set of Wilson Staff FG V2s and they are proving to be pretty nice as well.

MX200 are they forged? BTW scratch iron are rarely seen on the shelf of top golf stores. Are they Japanese?

I finally decided on Mizzy MX-950. They look like SGI iron but forged. They are about 3 years old (released in 2009) but I haven't seen Mizuno make the same type of iron. For now, I will hold on to them. At least until I see a similar Mizuno iron.

I'm hoping Mizuno will produce similar iron to Mizuno MX-950 in the future.

My A4 Forged are my backup as I actually swalloed my pride and went to the JX 800 (CAST)! Hitting them very well and long. Hard to get used to the thicker toplines on short irons though...
