He had a tough lie in the rough on the bank of a fairway bunker, thought it would hook but it didn't. Chip after that was very poor, barely on fringe and then not sure how he hit that putt that short but he three putted after his first putt left him 29 ft.

Woods said awhile back that he was having a hard time adjusting to the fact that Foley's swing causes the ball to go straighter, so he can't move it as much in either direction. So why hasn't he figured this out after more than a year of working with the guy? He keeps setting up for 20+ yard fades on iron shots, and not surprisingly he ends up double crossing himself half the time. Just aim at the middle of the green and hit a straight shot. Quit getting so cute with it, especially on a second shot into a par 5.

Woods' short game has been atrocious today. His game overall is wildly inconsistent. Somedays he looks like a world beater and others he looks like a 15 handicapper.

The thing that impresses me the most about Rory is his ability to build round apon round. He seems that if he can get off to a decent start maybe even just a couple under that the next round is better, than saturday is better till he seems to be sprinting away by the final round.

He is in my opinion very sensitive to momentum. Both good and bad.

The Fed Ex cup is stupid. Golf ends when football begins. Four tournaments in a 5 week stretch with the best players does nothing to build the interest. I never thought I'd say this but I've seen way too much Tiger, Rory, Phil et al and I've plain lost interest.

I'm looking forward to the Masters next year and hopefully Tiger round files the Method and Foley and starts to enjoy the game again.

Personally, I never tire of watching the game's best players. And, if my favorite golfer is in contention, I'm interested.

Let's hope Phil fires a 65 Saturday, and makes my Sunday golf viewing special.

As for the FedEx Cup, yeah it's kind of lame. But I really have enjoyed these tournaments like never before. GO PHIL!

Anyone see that sweet anser metal with elements shaft Kuchar was playing? B'stone needs to get some woods out there that the best want to use. I enjoyed watching the Foley boys pairing. That bird Bubba made on 17 was awesome. Furyk playing well and should be plenty of help in Chicago.

Furyk was firing darts in there yesterday. Even if Furyk wins it, he started too far back in points, a number of other players could get the Cup with a decent finish, Rory would only need 425 points. BUT, it happened last year with Bill Haas coming in from 25th place at the start to take the Cup.

Tiger looked pretty sloppy yesterday.

The fairways are very narrow and the rough is penal. Rory and Tiger missed a lot of fairways, Furyk hit a lot as usual.

I enjoy watching golf, so I'm watching the FedEx Cup, but as I said before I'd like to see much more difficult set-ups. First, it's supposed to be a playoff, and secondly, they are playing for $10 million.
