Nike VR Pro LE v's Cleveland Classic 310?

Who's hit both? I had a VR Le at the start of the season, superb head but the stock shaft was poor. They can be had quite cheap now so I'm thinking of getting another and reshafting it with a good shaft. I also really like the looks of the Cleveland classic and I believe the stock shaft on the 310 is a great stock setup. I wouldnt be able to demo the classic before hand, so opinions on it would be great... I did demo a Launcher TL310 and I didn't like the feel off the face as it felt very harsh, how does the Classic feel?

The Classic 310 is fantastic! I picked one up to battle my VR Pro Ltd... Both 9.5, both Xflex 65ish stock shaft (black Kusala in the 310). I definitely prefer the feel of the Kua to the stock Ahina in the LTd..

For me, the Classic wins hands down... For looks and feel.

Performance= dead heat.. I don't see much difference in distance.. I am a bit more accurate with the Classic, but I think it's just due to the confidence I have since the switch.

By the way..I'm keeping the Ltd in my back up bag, but probably going to reshaft it.

I will say this, the Classic 310 is better than the TL 310 I think. The shaft is much better in the Cleveland vs the Nike, but when you put a shaft in the Nike, it really bombs! Tough choice but I think it all comes down to feel, because once you put a good shaft in the VR, it becomes a much different monster and you can get similar performance. I am gaming the Nike VR Pro LTD with a Motore F3 70X and love it, much more than drivers I've played in the past. (910 D3, i20, VR Pro, VR Tour)

Why do you say that? I'm am considering the tl310 and haven't heard that.

Does anybody know where I can demo the Classic in the UK? I drove to DG in Huddersfield as they have then on there website but they said they dont stock them as they have no demand for them. The manager said I was only the 2nd person to ask about them all year. I cant believe how hard it is to find somewhere that stock a decent amount of Cleveland and Srixon clubs over here.

I've not hit the Classic as yet but it was hitting the TL310 that puts me off buying one blind. The face felt very harsh and the impact noise was very high pitch, I prefer a softer feel with a more muted inpact noise.

I have the Classic 310 in stock stiff set-up and it's the best driver I've owned. I'm fortunate to have gamed most of the well-known drivers from 2008-12. Stable, workable, long, with better roll-out than I recall compared to market competitors.

Interesting, I have the TL310/Motore 75X 9.5 in the bag and it's been there for two years. Curious about the shaft you hit in it, as the stock shaft did not work for me at all. As soon as I re-shafted, I was in heaven. My TL feels soild and a mushy twack! It reminds me alot of the Titleist lfe(back in the day). I have tried them all and the TL remains. I picked up a Classic 310 with the stock Myiazaki 72X...great feel , but hit way too low. My thoughts are the Classic is very low spin and the 72X Black is very low spin as well, so I hit low bullets in the 9.5...it didn't lasted two weeks...it may have been around longer if I installed something Mid-launch, but I ho'ed it away, none-the-less. I did pick up a Nike VR_S 9.5 with a DI-7X and it hit lower than the TL as well. The feel was harsh to me and I really didn't like the sound. Not as low as the 310 Classic, but still a low launcher for me. I'm eyeing up a Nike LTD as well. It sounds like it will play similar to the TL, but I do love the TL310 feel.
If your a high ball hitter, the LTD may be a great choice for you with the right shaft...probably need to pull the stock offering and install something more stable.

How do the two compare at address, my Classic 310 sat open a couple degrees, which I like. I know the Nike is sub 460cc as well, so I think they would be comparable heads. I've never found a Nike Drive I like, but the LTD may be a better fit for me....no ugly large bulky hosel adaptor.
