Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I did a quick search and came up empty. I am considering building a new set of clubs for next season (winter is horrible for club hoing) my question is if you use ascending weight shafts (aerotechs player spec ami99s) it would seem that your swing weight decreases the longer the iron. What kind of effect does this have on feel? Any insight on this would be great.

Info on my game I swing my driver between 115 and 120 have a very long backswing and a hard transition.

You could always add tip weights to even out the swingweight.

Sorry, never tried something like that but just keep in mind that weight issues (both SW and static weight) and how it translates to feel is extremely subjective. You may be able to 'test' how [b]you[/b] do with ascending weights by using some lead tape around the shafts of your current iron set to mimic the effect.
