My New Byron -#36

Here are a few pictures that Byron took of my new DH89. He did some hand grinding on it, rounded it off quite a bit including the trailing edge. It is 303 SS with the Brushed Blue Oil Matte finish. I told him to stamp 36, my old football number on it wherever he felt like and to stamp whatever else he wanted on it. As you can see, he left it pretty plain which I like, less is more. It has the Tuna Milled face, no dots or sight lines, and Royal Blue Iomic grip. I can't wait to roll some putts with it. I am anxious to see how she feels.

Wish I had the funds to do something like this. Anyone know when you order a Byron, does it have to have a Byron stamp on it somewhere? My dream is a DH89 or 612, with a sound slot and a black mill dot in the cavity, deep milled...nothing else...

I don't believe it HAS to have anything on it.

According to his website every putter must have Byron or some form of his name/brand on it somewhere. So not necessarily on the face, but somewhere.

Mine took approximately three to four weeks with the holidays etc. I do not know if that is average or not. I know he had a big order for Japan in front of me that took up a lot of time.

All Byron putters must have his name or some identifying stamping on them. For example if stamped as DH89 it does not also have to be stamped with BYRON. Turn around time really depends on how busy he is and what is involved in making the putter. I've seen putters turned in as quick as a few days, and I've seen them take a few months.
