My Clubmaker has done some work for him. He said he's a great stick and very intelligent. Besides the fact that mot quarterbacks seems to have the lowest handicaps on a team. I really don't know why that is honestly since they're generally there first and the last to leave.

I think generally kickers are the best golfers. Maybe because they have the most time to play.

Good under pressure, maybe.
The guy is stuck in the pocket, going through reads, getting the ball off even though he's about to be flattened by a 300 lb monster. (Dallas O line made that an almost automatic occurrence.)

After 5 months of that, getting up and down or sinking a 6 footer must seem less nerve wracking.

Or, he spends so much time coordinating a strong core, arms and hands on quickly balanced feet to deliver the ball accurately. It may be easy adapting those fundamentals to delivering a club to ball.

They are doing well to be able to hang in there in that format. The scores look to be higher this year for some reason - even with the good weather. Typically it takes a score of at least -35 on average to win. Makes it tough for them to win when they aren't getting any strokes. It's possible though. More than a few times, ams have provided the lions share of the strokes to win the team part.

QB's, baseball players (batters AND pitchers), and hockey players (not the goons, the scorers) all have exceptional rotational skills. Add to that terrific hand/eye coordination and overall athletic ability/body awareness and you've got a potentially really good golfer. I've seen Kenny Rogers, Mike Modano, Tony Romo, Brett Hull and a few others at my club hitting balls and they all kill it with good swings.

He hits it well, but 4 of his drives were ran back to the tee box by NY Giants players

I fail to see the similarities

Romo has won exactly zilch- and has had quite a few chances to advance ANYWHERE in the playoffs.

PM's career speaks for itself- and while its clear he is not the best of his generation, second place is secure. Romo fails to crack the top ten, ever...

Romo might not be Aikman or Staubach, but the Cowboys wouldn't have won more than 4 games a year with just an average QB. How they've sold their talent level to the fans for the last 15 years is mind-boggling. He makes some bone-headed plays at the worst times, but they would have been dreadful without him for the last decade.

Anyone else think it would be pretty cool to see Romo go after a spot in the U.S. Open again? Or even if he competes in some actual events, not just Pro/Am, I am absolutely not a Cowboys or Romo fan but I think it would be pretty awesome. Forget QB'ing go after a Tour card!

If he qualified for the US Open, Jerry Jones would manufacture and event to charge people to watch the coverage on the "Vid-jah Board" at Cowboys stadium.

Bobby Wadkins would be a more fair comparison for Romo.
