Yes Putters - Fakes???

A few weeks ago I got a Yes Callie and after seeing Greg's recent pics I want to get a few more of them. I went to eBay to search for some and came across several that looked likes fakes. My question is are they faking Yes putters?

Thanks, I was fairly certain they were fakes. Is it the old if its shrink wrapped its fake?

Sometimes hard to tell in the photos, if of the real putter being sold...check the font's and the placement of the letters on the head...if a putter is super popular, you will see some fakes, but fake putters take the most time for the counterfeiters to do and it is not worth it to do a ton of them..they don't make enough on them.

But at the store..I have seen a fake Scotty Newport(bought off the bay, I asked the guy), and a fake TM Tour (bought in China...uh...CLUE)...and had a guy come in a couple weeks ago to put a grip on a 'Scotty' and I had to tell him it was fake also...color and paint were the quick clue, not much look right on it.

Zach, what was it that made it look fake to you? The stamping or something else?

all his Adams stuff is real. Without getting him in too much trouble, his source is from directly from adams highest retail account.

I can tell, because I have a friend that has the same type of account. He's not supposed to sell them in component form though, only complete clubs.

I'd like to help...but I have never seen a TOUR issue YES putter...all the ones in the store have the two 'discs' in them for alignment aids...so I can't say that the tour does or doesn't have them in them. Haven't seen an pic's of the tour issues. I would assume an Adams rep might know for sure...?
