I've not played much golf in Florida, maybe one round when I was 15 8 years ago. So my general impression of FL courses is Doral, Bay Hill, what I see on tv. But this course looks like a North Carolina course at first glance to me, looks like a fun course!

I think it just speaks to the lack of excitement this field and tournament generates. Not saying the tournament shouldn't be highly thought of, but it's odd to be late on a Friday and just getting to page 2.

meh. I don't judge events based on Golfwrx threads that are generally full of fluff anyways.

Bombers don't like it here, maybe they're afraid Shotmaking isn't sexy. It's quite sad really, in my opinion.

If you go to the leader board, find a player, then over to the right > click "info" it will bring up a scorecard pane. On the top of that you can find "play by play" and "stats" etc...

On the pgatour.com website? I only get the last hole played when I click on info/play by play. Using Firefox, if that's relevant.

That course must be reasonably tough. Cut at +2, that's no slouch.

We want to head south sometime soon and I looked at pricing there. Not too bad for a high-end resort (way less than some others), and the airfares weren't too bad either.

Might need to book it.

It's a really tough course. I've never played it but have watched the tournament every year, and the virtual golf place i go to has it, so i've played it there a bunch. There's a lot of tough holes with water, some tough driving holes etc...

I remember a few years ago the pros ranked it pretty highly on the list of courses they play

The course does look tough, the important thing is to play the right tees for your ability.

My comment dealt more with the resort rates that I had looked up. Not bad at all for a high-end FL resort with quality golf. A king suite (true suite, pretty much a one bedroom condo) and golf for two each day is $600 inclusive (no meals). When I do Myrtle with the guys, for 4 nights in nice condos at Barefoot, everyone has their own room, nice breakfast every day, and 4 rounds of golf on the best courses, it's $1000, that's $250 per person per night, that's doing Myrtle super high-end.

The Innisbrook deal is not bad and the place looks pretty nice.
