When you ride with a stand bag, do you rearrange your clubs?

Kind of a weird question, but I'm curious.....

 

If I ride, I typically use a Sun Mountain C130 15 divider bag. My driver and 4 wood take up the back two slots, and then I work my way down to my wedges in the front slots, and the putter in the putter well.

 

 

 

My practice bag, and the bag I use when I walk is a stand bag, with a 7 way divider. I put my putter in the small front well, then woods in the next two, irons in the next two, and wedges towards the rear of the bag (where the kick stands are).

 

 

 

Sometimes, I don't get a chance to change bags from my stand bag to the C130, and it makes for some awkward club arrangement in the cart. The woods almost hide the irons. I can't turn the bag around because I couldn't get to the pockets.

 

Anyone else have this same issue? I know minor to some, but it is kind of aggravating. Open to suggestions. Thanks

I do not rearrange my clubs when riding using my stand bag but I know a few people that do. I know what you mean though that the woods can make it a little more difficult to reach the shorter clubs in the front of the bag, that really does not bother me while I am playing.

Ping Hoofer. My putter moves from the top, driver/3w pocket to the bottom 8-LW pocket. That's it.

Primarily use a Ping Pioneer cart bag on my Clicgear and when I ride I re-arrange them. If I am the only one in the cart, I can get away with turning the bag sideways making it unnecessary.

I use a titleist 14 way stand bag. Ride more than I walk but leave clubs as if I walked more. Once you get use to the woods in front of the irons it is no big deal.

SM Four 5. Usually walk, don't rearrange clubs when I ride. The first couple of times I rode with it was a little awkward having the shorter clubs in back but now I'm used to it and I dont think about it. I am thinking of getting a stand bag specifically for riding but thats more of a ho issue than a practicality one.

I must set up by bad completely backwards. I have always had my driver/woods on the lower part of the stand bag so that my putter and wedges are on the back side with the handle so the clubs I use more often are towards the top. Either way, that set up works perfectly when I ride.

i thought i was the only one that actually obsess over this. my latest answer to this issue is to get a staff bag but i am hesitant becaust of the size and overall weight of the bag. but i am leaning in that direction. i feel the divider in the staff bag makes it easy to move things around to make my clubs as accessable to me as possable and easiest to adjust to riding in a cart or using a push cart.
