The tv car, the hovercraft, the golf boys, the report of having his car followed, the public crying about his adopted son, the coyness about his banal choices for the Champions Dinner, even the pink shaft. Are these the choices and actions of someone wanting to fly under the radar with a low profile or are the the choices and actions of an attention whore? Clearly the latter. It is the hypocrisy of it all that makes hom a DB, IMO. I kind of liked him early on because of the creativity, but now I am completely over him.

Maybe he is the same guy he was back when he first started, but now all the media attention puts him in the spotlight? Being a marketable character like Bubba, winning tournaments and being the reigning Masters champ...kind of hard to go under the radar.

Why waste time on judging some guy you never met and have no idea how he is in person? Makes you sound petty...

I wonder what the average age of the posters in this thread is. I marvel at how so many can hate on someone they have never met. Their logic is: "If someone says it on Twitter, it must be true". Christina Kim? Really? So much of what is shown in the media is just snippets of the entire situation. Things are taken out of context and blown out of proportion. Not just talking about Bubba. After reading the threads on this forum yesterday, I went home and watched the press conferences on Golf Channel. I must say, that what I saw was WAAAYY different than what I was expecting.

Man, it just saddens me to see how hateful and critical our society has become. And I fear it is only going to get worse.

Set a platter of cheeseburgers off the grill on a table with some good fixins

Then set a platter of grilled chicken breast on another table

Bubba is the only guy eating the chicken

The title of this thread is: Bubbas failure to present his Masters menu is lame!

Therefore, it is discussing the fact that an action of Bubba is lame. A natural next step is to review his other actions as a basis of comparison. Several people found that some of Bubba's other actions were also lame. From that, several of us were able to draw the conclusion that Bubba seems to often do things that are lame, which leads us to believe that he, if-so-fact-so, is lame. Or as I called him...a d-bag.

So I don't see how people bashing Bubba was off topic at all.
