How cautious should I be when buying Oakleys?

I don't want to end up buying fakes, and I am just wondering how cautious I should be when buying off of eBay. I can identify fake clubs, but not fake glasses. What should I make sure comes with the glasses? The case+cloth? I'm looking for a pair with the g30 polarized lenses by the way.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

How about you just take my pair of Oakley Flak Jackets with Polarized/Transitions G40s? I wore them a few times and then got a different pair. I have the receipt from Oakley and everything.

VERY. Depending on which model you're looking at the likelihood they are counterfeit could be really high.

All Oakley polarized lenses have POLARIZED etched into the lens itself.
If you're looking at some specifically, post a link here and I can help determine if they are real or not.

Def be very careful on eBay man. Stick to the saying with clubs that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Dude do not buy Oakleys off eBay. I bought a pair of Radarlocks from a guy that had a 100% positive with over a thousand transactions and they were fakes I did get my $ money but had to pay return shipping which is stupid.

Okay I'll steer clear of the bay. It sucks because thy rarely come on the BST. A pair sold today while I was at a tournament, and to make matters worse I missed the cut ha!

Hell no I think white frames look sick especially with like fire iridium lenses not so sure with G30's in them though.

I paid $99 for my Flak Jackets(King's Camo in color) with 2 sets of lenses (one being the g30) at the Oakley Vault factory store. If you've got one nearby, I'd advise going there.

Oh, and on the polarized lenses, CXL sells polarized Flak lenses with polarized etched in them that I guarantee you you couldn't put them side by side with a pair of Oakley lenses and tell the difference without knowing which lens is which.

I was going to purchase on ebay as well, but checked the factory outlet (what the Vault is) and bought there cheaper. Fwiw, if you can even find a set of flakjackets on the vault site without the lens, the G30 XLJ lens run $35, or that's what they priced them at at the location I went to when I was looking at a different color frame with just polarized lenses in them. (So for around $99 plus the $35 for the extra lens, you're talking $140 basically for a pair with 2 lens).

Not necessarily legit since Amazon is not selling them, a third party esportsonline is the seller. There are known to be counterfeits if Amazon does not pack and ship the item. Just because it sells on amazon doesn't always mean they are authentic, have to look at the seller.

Scored my Flaks on here for $50! but i also have 2 other pairs to compare them to.

Also... White frames are NOT girly.... i prefer my flaks over my halfs because i think the white looks better.

Very true.... however, the advantage of purchasing them from Amazon, is that you can always return them. Any place that sells Oakley and doesn't accept returns is a place to AVOID.

If you don't want to deal with eBay I've got a pair I bought in Juarez over 10 years ago. Smoking deal at $6 (what I paid. There's inflation and these are classics now) with a "silk" carrying case. Let me know if you're interested.

After losing 2 pair of Maui Jim's by swatting at mosquitoes with my hat, I will only wear white sunglasses when I golf.

They may not be the coolest looking but they are much easier to spot in the rough.
