Yes. I have asked this same questions through here.

It seems glass beads with 80-85 grit and PSI of 90-100 will achieve the results of the "raw" Select finish from the Custom Shop.

I've done that to a Select NP2 for my brother-in-law and it looked very similar to the studio select line. Quick and easy process if you have the means to do it.

Yes it will. I have a whole post about it. You have to be careful to remove the sole plate (or completely tape over it with several layers of masking/duct tape), or it will be ruined. I never figured out what it is made from, but it DOES NOT hold up to blasting! I also removed the weights and shaft, but you could get away with leaving the shaft in/taped if you are using a spot blaster (blasting cabinet would require shaft removal). .

Hey guys
Ive been reading all of the posts for glass bead blasting the scottys and finally decided to take the plunge. At first I was a little weary of taking to much pvd off but to my surprise i was barely taking anything off after about 20 minutes of doing it on the sole the best I have is like a gunmetal grey. I used 80 grit glass beads and a sandblasting gun from harbour freight. Put the compressor on 85 psi and let it rip but never got the results. If you all could give me any insight it would be greatly appreciated!

I just had a Satin Black Ping Redwood Anser bead blasted, which is close to if not the same finish as their Starshot finish. It does look great... I do have something unique coming up for the paint scheme, so I will be posting it soon.

Sorry, I cannot help our with the technical problems a couple of you are having.
