I say share somethings about *your* golf in here with no *fear* of jerks ruining it. Anything you are *proud* of , so maybe coulds get some positivity back your ways.

Educate , learn , accept , is how i lives life.

http://www.golfwrx.c...40#entry6970604

As readings through this to try to *understand* peoples better , i noticed it is more abouts whose *privates are bigger* as peoples say. Since i lose that by defaults , i haves no desires to enter the contest.

Peoples on here seems to stop *sharing* ands haves gone more towards tryings to *force* their experiences down your throats. One who plays Division One golf seems to thinks that makes one *right* , or some Tour they *used* to play on , or whatever their reason is. *Rubbish* as Martin Hall woulds say.

A good examples woulds probably be the 60 i shot the other day. It was durings practice from the tees the state club matches will be played from. On here some will say *great score* , etc. A lot will say , *do it in a tournament or it means nothings* , etc. Instead of understandings that i am basically in tears ands full of panic at most tournaments from tryings to deal with peoples and the social parts of golf. Peoples want to bring each other *down* much too oftens.

The lady i was playings with was more excited abouts it than i was. Every hole encouraging me to make the putts and rememberings what clubs i hit for the distances. I had 10 putts on the back nine ands 7 birdies. She was gonna tell everybody she knew. If she was like too many on here , i woulds have saids , "Oh , nots a tournament , i will stop tryings."

I do notice peoples want to throw outs why they are *better* than others , so their words shoulds mean more. I shot a 60 the other day , i woulds hope nobody woulds listen to me abouts what *they* shoulds play. Same as if i were to someday win a tournaments on the LPGA. I am nots *you* ands *you* are nots me. I haves Autism ands other mental issues , most do nots. How could what i say be best ideas for most ? If i share ands it helps somebody be better at golf , that is all that shoulds matter to others. Not what college one played at or what tour they *used* to be on , etc. You coulds learn just as much from the old guy who does nothings but putt on the practice green because he loves golf but is too *old* to really play anymore.

Actually , the only things i woulds hope peoples woulds *listen* to me abouts is to finds what best *fits* your swing. I haves personal equation that i thinks everybody shoulds go for. Best fit is combinations of distances , controls , ands forgiveness. I believes forgiveness is downplayed , because nobody is swingings a club perfectly. Levels ands types of forgiveness are nots *defined* . Differences on forgiveness to me betweens MP-69 irons ands my new i20/s56 irons set is distances , nots directions. Five yards of distances are *huge* when tryings to put scores up.

This is the same crap that makes the *red* tees debate retarded. Too few are tryings to play their *best* golf ands more cares what others thinks. Ego in golf is bad. I gots caught up in *distances ego* this winter. I went backs to what my instructor ands i talk abouts. Too few are tryings to actually *control* a ball , ands too many are tryings to hit it too far. I coulds force a 8 iron 150 yards , but one shag bag woulds tell me just swingings enough for 115-120 yards consistently is all i needs from my eight irons. He says once you hits it *far* ands you get the *oohs & aahs* , you try to hits it farther to get more of thems.

I was encouraged by peoples to try Ping clubs ands thoughts i woulds hate cast , non-blade type look. The only differences i notice are blades are a little easier to cleans ands wear outs faster. I am nots one to notice differences in *feels* as they both feel nice to me. I prefer cast feels over forged now.

Share experiences , recommend things , but arguings why one shoulds be *listened* to is nonsense to me. Nots sure why , but i thinks it sucks for peoples who want to haves a place to share golf on. Take it back from the jerks.

Well, there a number of people who hide behind their computers and feel it gives them a license to be rude. I never quite understood that. Kindness, courtesy and respect never hurt anyone no matter the venue. I find it curious that we all share a passion for golf yet that doesn't seem to matter.

And yes, there seems to be different levels of "respect" among some: playing from "the tips"; driving the ball 300 yards; playing blades seems to give one more caché, as opposed to knowledge, scoring, course management, and the like. :-)

In addition, some folks seem to take it personally when their position is disagreed with (granted there are also some who are very rude in HOW they disagree). Instead of engaging in healthy, mature debate, some resort to name calling and insults. It appears some people have very fragile egos. :-)

Some of the arguments/comments are beyond petty and nonsensical.

At the end of the day, all that matters is what's in your heart and what kind of human being you are.

Being a d**k on a golf forum does not make one cool.

By the way Sam, congratulations on shooting a 60! Congratulations on keeping your ego in check! And, congratulations on being you! :-)

Congratulations on a superb round. On this forum there are far too many who would denigrate anyone for any deed that exceeds what they have done, real or imagined. Keep the faith in yourself and embrace the future.

Sam,

You have Autism and are one the smartest people on WRX (I know Autism can have no bearing on intelligence ... most people don't)

You posted a 60 and are only one of a handful on WRX who can type that.

My feel good moments are small ... went to the range today after watching a Monte video about lead arm position when it's parallel to the ground in the takeaway. Mine gets across my chest. Did it Monte's way and just striped it for a full bucket. My privates are now the bigger than everyone else's and I'm playing in the AM :derisive:

Thanks Sam

Congrats on the 60!

I have to ask... Did you have a shot at 59? I get nervous when I start to come in at 78 or lower so I have no idea what shooting that low feels like. Lol

Great post. I find there are may "internet tough guys" on here that have diarrhea of the mouth. I came here to get information and the share information; not to be berated because I don't agree with someone else's opinion.

One of the most frustrating and annoying things I read on here is " did you do a search before you started a new thread??? That topic was discussed years ago!!". Sometimes doing a thread search only offers hundreds of threads with random words highlighted that are part of your search entry. If the thread nazis don't like it when someone re-asks a question or re-threads an old topic they don't have to make their little snide comments about doing a search. They should simply just leave that thread quietly.

I agree. I just block the rude and obnoxious so I don't have to see their feeds. I enjoy the positive stuff much more. So far I've blocked about a dozen people and you know what, I don't miss them at all.

The forum is really just like golf.

You have to block out the things that have a negative influence and focus on the things that allow you to play better.

There are rude people everywhere in life, not just here. I don't pay much attention to them either place. Its harder here sometimes though because I really try to help people here. I've been playing a very long time and feel like I have experience to lend that very few others do. Of course my voice ends up being one of a hundred and each feel the need to prove why theirs is the one that deserves the most merit. Its hard to sit by and watch poor or misinformation be taken as fact but sometimes you just have to let it go. Most threads I post in I just don't even bother checking back into for that reason alone. Fortunately many will PM for a follow up and that is nice, I appreciate it when they do. Makes me feel like helping out is not a total waste.

Anyways.....

Just try remember the internet is not real life , be other person you really are in both places and you'll be fine.

way to go on the 60!!!! I've done that too......but I got rained out after 14 holes and couldn't add to it like normal...lol. my positive contribution is that I finally had a round where I hit all 18 greens in regulation last week

I hads 17 . I count *stats* after rounds as to nots get focused on things. Like too many woulds have probably tried too hards on the 18th hole to make all in regulations.

After my wife got home from work tonight she had dinner with our daughter and relaxed on the couch. So since I had a little time I ran over to the field down the street to get some practice in and hit some really pure 6 irons. I mean really nice, right on the button. I didn't worry about positions or how far my backswing was or anything. Just left fresh grass stains in the grooves in the size and shape of a quarter in the bottom-middle of the face. It felt awesome, and for a moment I was in total control of my golf ball and everything was beautiful. In the spirit of this thread, I'll leave it at that.

Well done Sam, my favorite time surrounding golf is very early Saturday morning first off just as the sun comes up, I listen to music as I get prepared to play. I try really hard to be the first one in the lot so I can enjoy the sunrise and generally relax as I begin the weekends play. I prepare Friday night so I can get out the door early and not rush, try and unwind and allow the business week to slowly wash away. Golf is a great game indeed, if I play well that's fantastic if not I forgive myself...BB

The *best* feelings for me is practicing unders the stars at a lighted range.
