Craziest scoring round ever!

So only got to play 9 holes after work but WOW what a wild round.

 

BIRD, Bogey, Triple, Bogey, Double, BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, par!

 

Wackiest 39 I've ever carded! Anyone else have a crazy scored roller coaster round?

I recently went bogey, bogey, birdie, birdie, bogey, birdie, birdie, bogey, bogey for a smooth 37. Hit 9/9 greens with five 3-putts.

Last 9 I played at my home course... Birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie, bogey, birdie, birdie, par, bogey.

I'm normally a par guy, I subscribe to the Nicklaus approach and almost always shoot for the middle of the green unless it is an open back pin placement. Drained a couple big putts for two of the birds, stuffed a wedge to a foot, and missed an eagle putt for the other bird.

Wish I could've played te back nine but oh well!

Definitely have had those rounds.

Yesterday it was a Jekyll and Hyde round. Paid a good amount to play the TPC River Highlands (travelers championship course). First six holes was 10 over, and finished the last twelve even. Finished just one stroke below my course handicap but it was a crazy looking card for me.

Played 9 holes, had 4 birdies and ended up shooting 4 over. Wild.

Even par 72 with only 2 pars...8 birdies, an eagle, 3 doubles, and 4 bogeys...During the round I was never lower than -2 and never higher than +2

I played 9 the other day and had something like that.. Bogey, par, birdie, par, double, birdie, par, par, bogey.. 38

I literally have only gotten par or better on the first hole at my home course maybe once.. (have played that course 100 times it seems like)

Had one round with 7birdies 7 bogeys 2 eagles and 2 doubles for a smooth even par round.

Played 9 yesterday evening. Had 2 GIR, both were birdies. Got up and down 6 out of 7 times. 10 putts for +1.

That's the kind of thing that drives an opponent crazy.

I played last night at Ironhorse Golf Club in Leawood, KS. It is a gem of a public course, and really feels more like a private course (Leawood is probably the richest part of the KC metro area). I played with a good, older friend of mine who was in town on business.

I shot a "routine" 79.

Here's the breakdown of my day:
5 birdies
5 pars
4 bogeys
4 double bogeys

I had 5 balls that were hit into lateral hazards. I hit 7 greens, with another 2 that were inches from the green on the fringe about 15 ft away from the hole. I hit 6/14 fairways. I had 27 putts with no 3 putts. I played my friend straight up in a stroke play match. After 10 holes, I was 6 shots behind, and came storming back to beat him by 2. I was 4/11 in scrambling.

Strangest round of my life.

I haven't too many crazy rounds because I get out of whack once a big # happens, poor mental game, but a couple of weeks ago I went birdie, Quad, birdie, birdie, par, bogey, par, par, biride for a 1 over round...

I am averaging 6.75 on the 2nd hole at this course for the 10 rounds...short par 4, island green, tee shot has to be between 195-205 otherwise you have trees in your way to get to the island green and there are bunkers left and right of the magic # landing zone...ugh i have nightmares about this hole

Once started my round 10,2,2...! And at the other end of the scale had a round with OUT: 4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4 IN: 4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4, yep you guessed 5!

I once started my round with a triple, a double, a bogey, a par, a bird. I really wanted to can my second on the par four sixth for eagle, but it was not to be.

Another round I was 13 over after five holes. I finished at 14 over. On the sixth hole I just told myself to reset and see what I could do the rest of the round.
