How do you hit a fade?

I like the idea about not having to change grip pressure, strength, ect. Simply set your body up left of the target, the face not quite as far left and get the feeling that you're really rotating hard. If you deliberately try to open your hips quickly and stay on top of the ball the shoulders will typically rotate a bit more level and create the desired path. Fades happen easiest with shoulders turning more level.

Well, I've been trying many of the good ideas posted here and have found something that works for me. And, I think of all
the posts this is the easiest way to hit a fade.

Key assumption (which I think is a golf truth): If your club face is open relative to your swing path you will fade or slice the ball.

If I weaken my grip (degree varies with the individual) so that my clubface cannot square itself at impact, I can fade the ball without changing anything in my swing or my routine.

Aiming take a bit of thinking and getting used to. Since the ball generally (85%) on the line of the club face impact angle, your aim has to take this into account in order to insure your face is open relative to the swing path. And of course the same everything will produce more fade as you go down in club face angle (4 iron will fade more than 9 iron if club face angle to swing path is identical).

For example (I'm LH but to avoid confusion I'll give info as if I were RH) my new improved fade technique will probably fade 10 yards for a 175 yard shot. I'm shooting to a right side tucked pin and I want the ball to land about 5 yards left of the pin.
Keeping in mind that my club face angle has to be open relative to the swing path in order to fade, and that the direction of the initial ball flight will be about 80-85% of where the club face is angled at impact, I'll have to aim left of where i want that ball to start before the fade begins.

How far left? If it only fades 10 yards and I want it to land 5 yards left of the pin (it's gonna roll or spin right because it's fading) I'll probably aim 18-20 yards left of the pin. Of course it's not really a math problem, it's a golf technique problem. You really need a repeatable swing to pull it off.
I also think this is one that is repeatable. If I use my normal grip I still have the tendency to close the face.

Whenever I have intention controlled slice/fade/cut shot it feels like I'm allowing the club to release to a target

With a draw/controlled hook I feel like manipulating the release which isn't a bad thing There a feeling of radial acceleration

With the fade feeling I'm feeling like I'm hanging on and letting physics do its thing and the club seems to be moving away from me longitufinally with centrifugal force

I just aim a little left and think right shoulder down, similar to playing a slice shot in tennis, very repeatable.

Im surprised I havent heard this yet. Same swing as normal. Ball forward instance handle back and neck tilt forward. This allows you to hit the ball on the front of the arc and have the face closed to the target to hit pull cuts.
This one seems interesting to try. Can you explain the neck tilt forward. Thanks.
