My guess is that they don't replace the 59's. They're really don't have a place when you consider 53's, 64's and the 69's. They're not drastically different enough from either to warrant an upgrade IMO.

I suspect that we will see 54's or an upgrade to the 69's, whatever name those will have.

I've been wrong before though!

Oh boy.. My cousin's brother's nephew's uncle's sister's grandma told me that Mizuno was getting out of the iron business.

I saw this picture the other day and wondered about a new Mizuno Iron - looks like something different to me..

Robert Rock's a TM player but I'm pretty sure that's got Mizuno stamped on the muscle.

Robert Rock was on Mizuno staff for about 4 weeks a couple of years ago - the official story is he couldn't find the right fit....

Speaking of Muirfield, the Tour Truck is on site (the Mizzy truck is traditionally the official event equipment bus too) and the techies inside are good enough to keep us updated with reports, photos, inside info etc. The overall photos are great and there will be tastefully lit product pics from inside the truck itself.

The course looks very good from the pics in the link! Thanks for sharing, I know this is blasphemy but The Open is more enjoyable to watch for me than our The U.S. Open. Something about playing in 15mph-30mph wind and the rain, hitting the ball on the ground from 150 with a 4 iron.
