Anyone use Ubersense swing video app?

I just downloaded and took a couple videos of my swing. Seems like a neat tool. Maybe a scaled down V1? Anyone have any helpfulmtips on maximizing its usefulness?

I've been using it for the last year or so after using the v1 app. I just found it easier to use than anything else out there. It's free and has all the tools I could need. I usually have a buddy record me from two different angles at the range or just put my phone on my golf bag to record. Then when I get home I save the videos to my account so I can view them on my larger screen on the iPad.

I just got it over the weekend, but have yet to try it. It seems like it has all the necessary tools.

I use the camera program on the phone, and record a few swings over a few minute time frame. The, I use Real Director app ($1.99 in iTunes) to split the video into a small video for each swing (5 seconds or less). The short videos are what I would then import into ubersense.

The "coaches review" feature is helpful in creating a video with lines on it, or slow motion, or whatever you would like to preserve to look at later. The resulting video can be shared on youtube, or your camera roll on the phone.

If you are up to spending $5, Coach's Eye has a flywheel feature that is really cool. You can spin it either way and the video will keep playing in that direction, or grab it with finger and move it back and forth to see a part of the swing.

I think the other features are similar to ubersense.

it's pretty awesome I've used it for awhile. does what it needs to do for free. anyone with effective ways of balancing your phone on your bag or something for good videos? I struggle to get videos when I'm by myself. phones don't stand on their own! haha

Get a Camcaddy. It's a phone cradle which mounts to an alignment rod. One of the better investments I've made, and it's inexpensive.

Love ubersense. When I have the time to set my phone up on my bag it definitely makes range sessions more productive...

I really like ubersense I think it is a really cool tool and best of all it is free. As far as maximizing its usefulness I am still learning as well.

Its great! So easy to use and free. I wedge my phone between my driver and 3 wood (with their head covers on) they are both in their own slots and the tension between both holds the phone firmly and allows me to point it directional up or down. I would use a phone caddy for a swing stick but I hit off mats and it is all concrete behind me so I don't think it would work.

bingo. I only have a grass range available on weekends, all other days it's mats. ill definitely try this headcover deal. great idea!
