100% agree on speculation.

Having held the V6 in my hand, I will say without a doubt the face was more shallow on the V6, which would theoretically increase the size of the footprint. Ben on the tour van confirmed the V6 was 430cc and intentionally shaped like the Vr Limited

This headshape looks an awful lot like the current Tour, especially with how DEEP the head shape is.

I was told that the Tour 2.0 would definitely spin more than the current Tour model, closing the gap between the two models. Currently, the spin gap between the two models is about 1000RPM for MOST people. At least that's what I've been told.

I should have looked at the new pictures before my last comment. WOW, this thing looks VERY NICE!! I hope it doesn't perform even a very slight fraction better than my current. I mean average one half a yard longer OR straighter, or I might be hurting my wallet again next year when this drops. No sight marking (got rid of the covert) the shape and color scheme looks incredible, would look fantastic paired up with my Speeder TS...if it gets replaced that is...sad story

I have to say, this does not look like a spring release to me.

I can't imagine that Nike would allow pics to be released this early for a spring release.

Further, if this is a Fall/Winter release, I would think its likely that ANOTHER driver will be released for the spring! I just don't see Nike with no driver to present at the PGA show in January.

New photos look nice, but I hope they make a performance one. I am not so good with driving the ball, I need all the forgiveness I can get.

Though, in testing I hit the tour father but not straighter than the performance model. But I like to get accuracy more than yards.

the white in the sole cavity's a fresh look that feels 'JDM' to me. I like it but still wish the top was semi gloss black with a matte black swoosh.. put the red in the sole side

I dont know about this one yet, looks way to similar to my current covert tour for me to even think about dropping more coin on this one. I know I will at least give it a test run but it will have to be head and shoulders above the one I have now before its considered.:-)

I Love the look of this driver. The ONLY thing I dislike about my performance covert is the fact that (in my opinion) it looks cheaper than the tour model (I know, I know, it IS cheaper, but still) because of the chrome instead of the black. I really wish they would make them both look the same and really hope they do this for the 2.0. A performance driver at 460cc with the same shape as last year and this new tech/look would be perfect. Titleist doesn't differ the graphics/paint between the D2/D3, TMaG doesn't change between the retail and tour heads, take note Nike.

At the BMW I saw him testing what looked like a covert tour at the Pro-Am. I wonder why they didn't have it in Chicago. I wonder how close this is to a final version, note the #2 markered on there. Unless that is just in terms of set-up for their fitting purposes and the heads are final spec.

Spring usually means a FEB release. That means they would have time to show this at PGA and then use that buzz into Feb. I still don't like that timing, but that is how it has been the last few years.

Totally agree, but in the past it seems like PGA show releases are generally embargoed until the day of the show.

I think the sole looks much better, the crown and overall shape looks the same to me. I would still rather see this as a glued version. It's going to be tough to beat the Covert Tour though, that club is absolutely fantastic!

I really hope the white stuff is a polymer of some kind. So many benefits that I can think of...

More solid sound.
Weight (hence the missing plug from the CT)
Instead of a plug in the middle the weight is slung back. I did this with lead tape in my performance head! Worked great.
Vibration reduction and a duller sound.

Of course it might be just white paint and I got excited for nothing. Wouldn't be the first time...

I like the white and even though it's not a glued hosel, it looks about as good as you're going to get with the adjustment. This is going to give my Vr Tour a run for its money!

Greg has pictures on page one and I'm 99.9% sure thats not 460. Nikes made very few tour heads at 460.
