On the one hand, most of that damage was done before I was twenty.  On the other hand, I’m much more religious about using sunscreen now.  You know. Horse is out, close the barn door.  

I am with you only on a 3 month rotation, just had #17 cut out and have had 100's of freezes.  Just have to stay ahead of it at this point, 30 years in the fishing business and never even thought of sunscreen working in cutoffs most of the time.

Watched a guy at my in-law’s course in AZ attempt to give a lesson to another guy that involved moving into positions far beyond his range motion. “You just gotta get here and that slice will go away.” The guy ended up falling over. “You went a bit too far that time, but that’s the idea.”

Blames it on the driving range.

Have heard some strangeness on the range but this guy took it to new heights. Sounded like he was throwing up during a swing. Took a few more then it repeats, like something he'd eaten was coming back up. Thought at first maybe it was a genuine thing from a disorder, but it was only after bad swings. 

 

A few minutes later he starts making Donald Duck angry quacks after bad strikes. Strange and then some.

background needed: Local semi private course is rumored to be for private sale to some members of a nearby private course who aren't a fan of recent changes there.

 

Guy 1: I really hope it gets bought out I hate have to compete for tee times 7 days in advance to get out in the morning

 

Guy 2: you know they have a basic membership here currently for $40 a month. Gets you unlimited range and 10 day tee times

 

Guy 1: yeah but I still don't want to pay for early tee times, going private takes care of that.

 

Guy 2: How there's still group coming out whether lottery and booking online

I saw a few guys weighing clubs and adjusting swing weight. They had the swingweight scale on uneven ground and sitting in the taller grass to the side of the range.

 

They were fully convinced dialing that swingweight in was going to fix the ball flight, meanwhile topping every few shots.

 

The idea gear will fix your game is truly out of hand lol

Many, many years ago I got paired up with someone who sounded like he was…..straining…..😯💩 while over the shot before he took it back. 😂

Impossible! 😂 It was a long time ago, and absolute craziness….I could not contain my laughter and had to keep turning away mid-shove, then walk quickly away post impact so the laughter wasn’t obvious enough to be obnoxious. 😂😂
