Low Tide?

Lately, I've been very intrigued by Low Tide's putters and have been thinking about placing an order. Two fold issue with doing so:

 

1) I've never seen one in person. Any thoughts are appreciated.

2) I'd prefer it to be 1018 carbon steel, which is something they used to offer, but have decided to discontinue and opt for 303 instead. Anyone with hands on experiences between the two?

Have two and a third on the way.... Great feeling putters... The WhaleTail Is super stable...with the fins it's perimeter weighted and super forgiving... The Fin is a GREAT looking putter at address... New one is on the way... RipCurl.... More traditional look...

I used 1080 for one and 303 for the other.... Told em to have fun on the RC...

1080 feels softer to me... A lot softer... But the 303 puts a beautiful roll on the ball... To be honest.,. I don't prefer one over the other... I have a heel shafted and a center shafted so. I use both depending on my practice for the week... Take em both to the green and my misses determine which one I will use on Sunday...

I am mistaken... My Carbon putter was 4140...

They are large, wide body blades man.... 1 1/12 wide for the Fin... And that's the first blade model.... RipCurl is 1 1/4... Not sure on the WT as I never bothered to measure it..

You guys aroused the ho in me so sure enough I had to email them. Why did you all have to go and do that?

Might have to get a Fin with the plumbers neck and no sight line.

I'm having the same thoughts on a fin with plumber as well.

I have a 1080 FIN and love it...its actually my go to putter out of the 4 I have right now.

Mine just came in today. I'm taking off early so that I can go roll a few before the Braves game. They a great team over there and are very cooperative and easy to work with. I'm going to create a post about the entire experience and a product review with pictures later tonight.

On a side note, the whole "Low Tide" pronounced similar to "Roll Tide", which is a big no-no for me.

As a Gator fan that has very close ties to Auburn, that was definitely a big hurdle for me.
