That second hit with the Ignite is off. The ball speed is too high, should probably be 160 or so.

Out of those drivers I would go with the 910 easily. Your swing speed is a little lower with it which leads to a little less ball speed but the flight numbers are great and consistent shot to shot. I bet that one had the best looking flight. You spin both Nikes too much and the R9 launches too high.

Numbers are a little suspect (e.g. 113ss --> 180bs)

But all else being equal, you're getting good launch angle, spin rate and total distance with the 910. Your numbers were also very consistent with that driver.

I would take the Titleist.

Edit: jjk beat me to the punch.

Thanks for your feedback.

What monitor? Outside or inside? Something still seems questionable. Your spin numbers jump all over the place shot to shot. Are these all center hits?

It was inside. 11 of the 12 I would consider good to very good. They were 12 Tee Shot in a row so they were not a 'premium selection'. Some were a little off but I would not have been unhappy with the shot. I think it was a good sampling.

This may help.

The spin avg with the ignite is also suspect. Unless that mishit didn't spin and somehow got counted in the average.

Actually all averages with the ignite should be re-evaluated with the exception of carry distance.

Personally, I'd go with the 910. The spin is good and the launch is good. Even though the others lead in other categories, the 910 will be rock solid, even on mishits.

Also, the 1.38 avg smash factor with the 910/Devotion could probably be increased by going to an 05 flex Devotion. You're probably losing some due to excess shaft rotation/torquing, a stiffer shaft shouldn't have this issue.

I would experiment a bit with 910, and some different shafts. It looks like you might also benefit from either going up in loft a touch to increase the carry, or adjusting the sure fit up .75. The number on the VR look pretty good as well. Which one felt the best?

A. What type of monitor was this exactyl?

The club speed numbers are either off compared to the ball speed numbers, or you have contact issues with every single one of those, which makes picking between them pretty much void as you are not getting the optimal impacts with any of them.

2nd on trying out different shafts. You definitely should be getting more carry with the ss you have. They look more like my distance numbers but my ss is only 100, nowhere near 110 even if I jumped on it.

SSP, i have had the R9, D3 and now the Keeper, VR Tour 10.5 with steel shaft.

For me, the VR Tour rolls out better, feels better, hits more fairways.
I trackmanned the R9 and 910D3, but the nike, i just slam it well.
When my playing partners are impressed with my driver........, then so am I..........
I went old style to a Mizuno MP 001 after the 910D3 for more fairways and longer drives....
MP 001, Ping G2 and VR Tour had best feel, cheers!

+ 1 on that

We start by optimizing impact spot and power transfer ratio
- A pure impact in the sweet spot should give a PTR/Smash factor of 1.5 as optimum, and below 1.48 is no good.

151 Ball speed / 110 Club speed = PTR 1.37 - No good at all.
You should get 110 club speed x 1.48 PTR = 162 mph ball speed
For each mph ball speed we get 2 yards more carry "all else equal", so you are leaving 11 x 2 = 22 yards carry

Before PTR value is optimized, we know we did NOT impact the sweet spot of the face, and then both launch and spin values will be "all over the place", and you loose both distance and directional dispersion.

Non of those clubs are a god fit for you, compared to what it could be, and should be.
Club length is the place to start, drivers of the rack is several inches to long, and YES you will hit longer with a shorter club.

very interesting .... I agree based on more research it seems my smash factor is lacking. The only other true measurement I have done was at a remax qualifier on a flat non-windy setup about 13 years ago (I was 39 or 40 at the time). I was using a 44" 11 degree driver and had 5 or 6 balls between 300 - 310. I am sure I had a couple more MpH on clubhead speed - but 35-45 yard loss seems alot.

would choking up an inch qualify as a shorter driver? I am also curious about what you guy think on the flex needed. As I have started to lose distance I am trying more (s) flex shafts but not sure that is helping.

My next experiment is a 12 degree Ping G10 setup with a voodoo xdv6 I have. Maybe setup as 44".

Keep the thoughts coming. I am also going to test some different swing changes to see what the numbers show. My profile is a push/draw. Used to be more draw when I was younger. 8 out of 10 balls now are right of Center because of 40 years of a setup of it coming back to center/left of center. I am sure smash factor has dropped with this change somewhere.

A few pictures to get a visual.
