Yes when he came out of UNLV he was on Ping staff, then Scratch, then Adams/TM... however he always reverted back to Ping irons.

He's been playing S55 for awhile now I believe... that and now back to an original black Burner Superfast TP... with a DI of some sort.

I don't think its wise to put too much stock in what he's playing though as I don't think he knows most of the time.

How many TM clubs in the bag? Looked like:

TaylorMade Superfast (original black) TP with DI
RBZ Stage 2 (3W) with DI & original RBZ (4/5W??) with TM graphics
PING S55 irons (he always used to use X100 Lite and PING 703's in his PING irons) and that's what they look like again...
Wedges look like a mix-- I know a Mack Daddy 2 Slate with KBS Tour shaft and looks like a Gorge with Tour Issue DG

Based on what I've learned here-- If he had been using G25s he wouldn't have needed the playoff. The G25s would have forgiven him 2-3 shots per round.

You're right, that's exactly what I meant I don't know why I put SL. When I was at PING I saw an old set of his-- and the guys said he always keeps those same specs with new PING irons. DG X100 Lite with PING 703 grips.

it does seem odd that he's never used TM irons or a TM ball (to my knowledge), yet TM is his major sponsor. The more prominent TM guys like Rose, Day, Sergio and Dustin Johnson all seem to carry a full sack of TM.

After the win in Malaysia with S55 irons, maybe he'll get an endorsement deal from Ping. It would seem like a better fit, but I've heard that Ping likes to mandate 12 or 13 clubs made by Ping in the staffers' bag. Sort of an anti-ho approach...

I'd play any irons before I went to non-TM driver or woods. It's likely that he looks at it the same way.

Yes, because lots of people here hit the center of the club face as often as Ryan Moore. Obviously a generalization for WRX members should be applied to a top Tour Pro as well. Logic at work.

TM got a win finally? I was watching football. Good to see someone other than Justin Rose carrying the load for them. Granted Ryan had more NON-TM clubs in his bag than TM.

...but at least he had the TaylorMade hat on so they'll float him a few dollars in endorsement money!!!

My post was sarcastic seeing as though we are talking about the clubs ( S 55's) that actually clinched the win for the lad!
