Yeah definitely shaking my head at that one from Thorty... Dumb. But hey we all make mistakes I guess right? Go Bs!

Gentleman, I or one of the other guys will definitely inquire about the absence of the TP badge. Honestly I never even gave it two thoughts prior to getting on WRX (I just knew it meant that one was more expensive) but you TP guys are very vocal and I will definitely try to grab some info for all.

I am most excited to see what kind of magic these guys can word for me with a 3 wood. Last year I got my RBZ 3 and really like it. I was crushing it past most everyone's driver and all was good. I took some lessons and made some fairly big swing changes (holy cow now I can trust my driver) but the one club that didn't get the memo was my 3 wood. Just do not have faith in it anymore and half the time I don't even take her out of the trunk. Hopefully these guys can figure something out with the new sticks.

BTW, Atlanta is a huuuuuge airport! Never been here before but wow. I got an hour to kill before boarding the flight to San Diego. If anyone else has any requests or questions for TM put them on here for us and we will do our best to get some info for y'all!

What is your current driver and 3 wood setup?

We're you fitted for it?

What is one thing you hope to gain or change over your current gamers, ie what is your biggest issue with your current gear? If you like your current driver/3 wood it could be as simple as more distance.

My hdc 8.2 GHIN

I am 54 yrs old and an Aquarius

I have been on trackman. My ss is 100-105.

I have lost a few MPH over the last few years do to age and flexibility.

It has been a long time since a true fitting and that is an exciting part of this trip.


R1 set at 10* Speeder 6.3 TS X flex Std length
RBZ Stage 2 3HL 16.5* TM Speeder 6.0 VC +1"
RBZ Stage 2 3h 18.5 TM Accra Tour Z M5 Std length

I have a SLDR 12* that I use with the Speeder 6.3 and I hit it longer than the R1. That is trackman confirmed. I want to know if I have the right loft and shaft. We will see. Interest in both of the new fairway and hybrids, JetSpeed and SLDR. Like the guys in Naples, I thought SLDR for sure. Don't know now. Several of those guys really like the JetSpeed. We will see. I like the ability to adjust to fit me or fit the shaft. I am sure I have always made compromises in my self-fittings. I don't have to do that this time. And I usually dial a club to my liking and leave it alone. So maybe the glued JetSpeed fairway and hybrid is not that big of deal.

[/quote]Not a dime comes out of a members pocket unless it's to buy a beer at the airport, or at the hotel/resort/________ bar while just hanging out. All meals, travel, and clubs, if any, are included.

NP. I don't think I spin the ball TOO much normally. But, the SLDR did drop my spin to the point that I had to add loft to better carry numbers. I have wondered if I had an option of a shaft that would spin a bit more, could I go down to a 10.5 and get more roll for more distance. Choices?? LOL

Is this the place in Carlsbad where a lot of tour players get fit for new equipment?

A friend of mine was there a few years ago. He was testing new drivers on the range and every ball went about the same distance. After a few shots he took a new ball from the bucket and teed it up. The drive he hit went about 100 yards further than all the rest. He was like "what the **** just happened?" haha

Turns out taylormade had made a few balls for fun to see how far a golf ball could fly. And one of them had by accident ended up in his bucket.

Pretty cool story I would love to have one of those balls just to outdrive my friend with 100 yards!
