Your longest driver combo?

I'm after some ideas.... I've been trying all sorts of combo's recently but just cant find the one!

 

My ss is around 105mph with driver, I want mid launch and low spin...

 

Whats your best recent driver combo & whats your ss, launch etc.

 

 

 

EDIT;- Just to add for those who will say 'go get fitted' I fully intend to when the new Big Berthas are released. In the meantime I want to pick up something decent, all my recent combo's just seem to lack a bit of pop. Most recently a 8.5 Titleist 913d2 with Oban Devotion 04. Great accuracy but just lacks a bit of distance, probablly about 10-15 yards down on my normal distances at my home club.

Sldr 430 with gd DI bb and it's the longest driver I ever hit in solid strikes or miss hits. Spin is 2200 with swing speed of 108.

Cobra ZLE with Oban Kiyoshi white. Gotta be the shaft... 20 yds longer than the stock Fuji

Ping Anser ahina 70 x. Spin's around 2400 for me and my ss is about 120. The Cleveland Classic XL Custom was the next closest I found for low spin drivers that worked well for me. Just got better results with the Ping.

Razr Fit extreme w/ matrix black tie 9.5. Ss is 105-110. Launch was 14, spin around 2400. For me It was 10 yards longer than SLDR, Covert, and Amp cell. My ball speed was 6mph more with the rfe.

Adams Fast 12 LS with Matrix Black Tie 6M3.1 X Flex. long, low-spinning bombs.

Sldr with kiyoshi white 75x and Superfast 2.0 TP with ad di 7x

For sheer distance: Krank Rage Black 6* with PX Black 7.0.

Ping i15 with Aldila RIP alpha 70x. It was long on most swings, but occasionally I would nuke one 30-40 yards longer than my typical "long" drive. Had a couple of drives that would put me places on the course I'd never seen before. Wish I could have bottled those swings, because I could never reproduce it consistently.

Longest driver in carry distance is the Adams 9064LS 9.5* with a Harrison Eclipse. I didn't get too much roll out, but it bombed it out there. With roll, its my current gamer, the Adams Super LS 7.5* with a Harrison Striper H2. Lower launch, great carry, great roll out. Easily the longest I've ever hit.

SLDR with AD DI, Kyioshi white, AttasT2. All three have produced great numbers and have worked equally well on the course.

RBZ tour 9* with a Proforce V2 ss around 120 and like DickieThon the Krank Rage Black 6* with a XXX flex shaft. It's insane how high the ball flight is even with only 6* of loft

Longest for me was my 983K, tho could swing harder 10 years ago. Second was a SMT DB455 10* with a 44" shaft. Now I'd be lucky to carry it 270 with my RFE w/ Di AD 7X

I've had great results with two different driver heads with the same shaft, the shaft is a Great White from House of Forged, the heads are the Cobra ZLE and the Geek DCT.

If you want mid launch/low spin, the Oban Devotion 4 is the exact opposite of what you want in a shaft. An 8.5* 913D2 is okay to get you where you want to go, so try a lower spinning shaft like the D+ White, which comes stock in the 913D2.

I've had 2 driver set ups that have produced some of my longest drives. I haven't found a set up yet that I hit consistently. That's due to me not the gear, though.

Had a Taylormade r360xd with Fuji 63x played at 44. Hit some low stinging drives with that set up, but I gave it to my brother because it fits him better than me. I'm gaming a RFX with a Diamana D+62x played at 45. Only played two 9 hole rounds with it but hit some of my longer drives on balls I didn't quite get all of. It's all the weapon I will need and I don't have to make too many changes in my swing to make it work.

Tour Edge Proto 9*. Aldila Proto By You 60s 44". 330 yds with a 10 yard draw. Thing "was" a hammer...50 yards of run at least. (It's in my closest, but shhh, it's sleeping--waiting in the shadows for yours truly to doing a little waking up himself.)

I am rather new at using the latestest innovations in golf equipment and have been trying several shaft and head combinations in the past few months since getting the golf bug really bad in May.

I just put a Harrison Stripper H2 shaft on a Titleist 910D2 9.5 degree head. It is stiff and tipped one inch. Plays at 45 inches.
I took it out today and was rather stunned how it launches a ball out there.

I just turned 63 today and still can't believe I am hitting it as far as i am.

Razr Fit Xtreme with the Speeder 6.2 TS. Unfortunately it made me greedy for distance and I started to over-swing (and pull shots left).

Nike VR Pro LE 8.5* with A'hina 70X. My SS is 111. It had great feel and I hit high flat bombs with it. Couldnt control direction though.

Easily the longest is/was a Taylormade R11s with a Motore Speeder 7.2 VC Tour Spec X-stiff.

Followed by a Callaway X-Hot Pro with Kiyoshi White 75X.

Swing speed 118 mph average (113-123 last time on track man, excluding the trying to feed the ego swings), launch usually around 13-16*

I switched to a Titleist 913 D3 with Matrix 7M3 X, and am hitting higher trajectory shots and seem to have lost about 5-10 yards (less roll out) but the mishits seem to stay online with my dispersion tightening from 21 yards (R11s) to 16 yards (w/ 913 D3) last trackman session. Just 20 balls hit with each. My dispersion will be worse if I sit there all day and try to rip drives.

Geek DCT 9* measured loft, RIP Alpaha 60. The face welds started to show and it was probably illegal because I usually cant pick up that much distance so quickly. I think I'm going to build another one like it in the Spring.
