It is nothing more than nostalgia that keeps me referring to a 3 metal as a 3 wood. I really miss those wooden clubs!

Nerdy (expensive) private school in England is known as public school. Faldo did not attend English public school as far as I know. He was a carpet installer (fitter) when he won the UK amateur at age 17 (?). The guy earned it.

In fact, I think most of the great pro's from Great Britain are mostly middle to working class.

I hate it when announcers refer to hybrids as either "Rescues" (generally someone who is sponsored by TMAG.)
or refer to them as "some kind of driving iron" Yo this isn't the 1970's when you were on tour!

I love 'em, but according to Johnny and Rog, everything inside of 50 yards is "makeable." As in, a 20 yard chip with 6 feet of break in the last half... "That's makeable isn't it Rog?"
