Got my first look at Matteo on TV/Phone today whilst having a cheeky watch of the Volvo Golf Champions on my phone at work during lunch break

He played quite well when I saw him, hit some good approach shots but not his usual self on the greens

He was playing a Odyssey putter so maybe he just needs some time to get used to it, it was a Versa mallet similar to his old GoLo

Luke wishes his swing were as technically sound as Manassero. I think Chuck puts Luke vs Matteo vids on V1 and instructs Luke to copy what he sees.

What happened to Luke? He was hot for a while and had a beautiful swing. Luke really cooled off last year. Matteo's swing is awesome.

I watched the ideo. Great stuff. He is a wonderful young man. He acknowledged how good Titleist had been to him and did a great job with that question. His English is almost perfect too. He looks a lot leaner. I wonder if it is in his best interest to hit the gym like McIlroy does. Rory says he is in the gym in the morning and also at night!?!? I think it could possibly harm most golfers and screw up their swing.

I was very impressed with Matteo's English - much improved. Me thinks he's preparing for the PGA tour. Look's like he lost his beer belly, but has gained some muscle.

Tiger also trains twice a day. Modern golfers are Billion $ corporations managed by a team that knows what they're doing. Swing coach, Fitness coach, and Sports Psychologist collaborate and structure the player's training based on specific goals/target.

Anyone know if that was at the Callaway facility in Southern Cal or a course they use nearby?

I assume Matteo will be at most of the WGC events, The Masters and also The Open? He played very well at both majors when he was 16, especially The Open.
