Minneapolis Simulators

I was looking to go to a simulator to kill some of the winter blues I am having and I was wondering what people would recommend in the Minneapolis Area.

Inside Edge in Eden Prairie is the nicest facility I've been to.
The Bunker in Minnetonka is just OK.
MPLS Park Board sent out an Email that they have a sim at Gross I think it is.
Bunker Hills added sims when they re-did the clubhouse.

That's all I can think of right now...

I personally like the sims at bunker hills and i have played at all the the ones Mr. Divots listed.

Cost is about the same at all places if i remember correctly. The sims at The bunker are older versions and i feel not realistic as the ones at ISE or BH. Both BH and ISE both use Pga tour sims so that is a wash for which one is better.

The biggest edge i give BH is that is a full bar and menu during your round. There are server in that area to take orders and bring you food. Neither ISE or TB have this.

Haven't been to the BH sims yet. Just saw them when I played there this summer. Definitely the closest for me. Will have to check them out, thanks.

Bullrush is a drive but they have them as well. I would say Inside Edge is the best around though.

If you want to dial in your clubs the Minnesota Golf Academy in Eden Prairie/Edina has Trackman's available for $60/hr. Pretty sweet if you want to dial in a driver or carry distances on your clubs. It is a different experience from playing a simulator course, but you can do the trackman combine test which is pretty awesome. Look it up the combine on the trackman website.

As far as simulators go Inside Edge down in Eden Prairie is the best experience I have had in the twin cities. Not cheap, but the most precise. Putting is a joke, but it is everywhere.

I would go to golf zone, it's a full distance heated range where ur inside hitting out side. Great way to kill the winter blues. Nothing's better than hitting some full length drives or irons where u get to see your actual full flight

Are there any golf domes in the metro? I remember the one that used to be in Cloud (demolished by the same blizzard that took down the Metrodome) and it was great!

I prefer GolfZone to any sim as well. You can see full flight, they have much lower prices than the sims as well.

I've taken lessons at MNGA and wholeheartedly recommend them as well.

I had a poor experience at IEG and won't be giving them any more of my money.

I'd say go for MNGA or Golfzone for the most effective practice.

There is the breamar golf dome in Edina but I would say golf zone is a way better way to spend ur money. Unlimited balls and just charged on time. Plus it's a full length range where u can hit full length shots. They also have a sand bay at the end where u can hit full sand shots and work on your long sand game
